A little slice of heaven ...
The Royal Lahaina is undergoing major renovations and improvements. We stayed in the tower in a recently-renovated room. The bed, pillows and linens were of the highest quality, as was the flat-screen TV and bathroom amenities. The provision of white waffle robes was an added luxury. The A/C worked well and the view is beyond compare. Dinner at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant provided the best meal of the entire holiday. The macadamia-nut crusted mahi mahi is a must have if you are dining at the resort restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful - everyone from the housekeeping staff, to the front desk, to the pool attendants, do their best to make your stay memorable. We did self parking, but spaces are at a premium. Valet parking is $5 more each day, and at peak season, would be a worthwhile investment.

Warren and Annabelle's is a four-hour evening's entertainment with good food, amazing feats of magic and even a resident ghost. Great fun for adults and children alike. Book your tickets before leaving the Mainland, though, as it sells out weeks in advance.

Great Bed
The Royal Lahaina Resort has one of the best beds that I have ever slept in. It was great to wake up refreshed each day that we were there. Also the view from the room was great. The beach was right past the 2 pools and the water was clear for 30 feet down. If you are going to do the Lu'au upgrade to VIP for the extra $15 you will not have to stand in line and you get better seats.

You can get pregrnant there easily
This is our first visit to Maui. Royal Lahaina Resort is very relaxing place to stay, nice, clean and comfortable, romatic hotel restaurant. Most excited, I got pregnant there. If you want get pregnant, you must stay at Royal Lahaina Resort. if you don't want to get pregnant, you still want to stay there. We'll take our baby there in three years to visit his/her birth place...

beautiful hotel
The recently renovated tower rooms were clean and beautiful with a very comfortable bed,in room safe,flat screen tv,mini fridge,iron w/board,coffee maker,hair dryer and sink separate from the toilet and shower.Excellent buffet breakfast.The golden sandy beach was clean and never crowded.Parking at $10/day was disappointing considering each spot was very very tight,difficult to find a spot at night after returning from dinner and especially between luau time from 5pm-9pm.It's an extra $5/day for valet parking.Hotel workers were very friendly and accomodating.On request we received a free room upgrade and a roll away bed free of charge($35 value).Drive time from Kahului airport is 45 min.I would love to return to this hotel next time in Maui.

Old Lahaina Town(10 min drive) is excellent for shopping,dining,excursions,walking and taking pictures of historic buildings.Try Bubba Gumps for great shrimp in a casual setting.Avoid the slightly overpriced Hilo Hattie tourist store.

Fantastic stay at Royal Lahaina!
This was our first trip to Maui, and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the tower and the room was beautiful. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and the incredible view it offered. We would highly recommend the Royal Lahaina and would choose to stay here again.

The Aloha Mixed Grill is a great place to eat for a very reasonable price. Try the stir fry its great. Its located on front street in Lahaina.

Wonderfully private
The Royal Lahaina Resort was extremely beautiful, inside and out. The main floor and lobby was open to the ocean and mountain breeze, it was refreshing. The room offered a spectacular view of the Maui coastline and the decor was contemporary but cozy as well. The location was perfect, we were within a short walk from the Ka'anapali beach that was busy due to all the hotels. Our beach on the other hand was extremely private, so we could enjoy both. Whaler's village was a pleasant walk away as well and Lahaina a short bus ride. The hotel's location was the best part because we could do so much. We will be staying there again, for sure!

There were small shops on the hotel property. Whaler's village at Ka'anapali beach was a short walk or trolley ride away. The town of Lahaina and Canary Mall were just a 5-10 minute bus ride away.

Very friendly staff!
The Royal Lahaina is a beautiful resort right on Kaanapali Beach with tons of amenities. The service is exceptional, and the staff members always greeted us with a smile! We were there for my sister's wedding, and the wedding coordinators were extremely helpful and accomodating. All we had to do was show up! The hotel is beautiful, as well as the grounds. Every room has a private lanai with an exceptional view of the ocean. We stayed in the tower, which was recently renovated and the rooms are beautiful. The only complaint that I have was the lack of a fitness facility, but there is a jogging path that goes right through the property. I would definitley recommend this hotel.

Burnt to a crisp
The Royal Lahaina was a wonderful choice for a relaxing week in Maui. The newly renovated rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We had an Ocean front view that was amazing. The hotel staff was very friendly and the restaurant was pretty good. I would recommend the sunset dinner before 6pm. A deal with a free Mai Tai to boot. The two pools were very small but perfect for a quick dip. If you are looking for a huge crazy pool for the kids... dont come here. The resort location was just around the Black Rock diving area away from the the larger resorts. We could walk to the Whalers Village shopping area and drink out of coconuts. The beach was nice, the water calm and warm. Being away from the main resorts, the beach rarely had annoying kids and was easy to find a place to relax. There is a Luau on the premises that is cheaper to attend for hotel guests. It wasnt Las Vegas level entertainment but it was still a lot of fun. The food was great and we met a lot of cool people. I also recommend the Italian restaurant Basil Tomatoes in the resort. It had great fresh tomatoes and wonderful flaky fish entrees. Great deal if you get the sunset special.

VERY BEAUTIFUL
The Royal Lahaina Resort was just a wonderfull hotel, the room are largest and comfordable was just a fantastic hotel with a nice pool area and in two step you arrive on the one of the most beatuful beach in the world. The location was also very good. I really recommend this hotel!!!

Great getaway!
This resort has some amazing dining. The Luau show was also excellent but pricy. Overall, the resort is a nice place for someone looking for a getaway. I will come back to this resort for sure.

Amazing open-mall next to the resort if you are looking for cheap dining. If you wanna Snorkel, the beach next to the resort is the BEST place to Snorkel...perfect location.
