had a nice stay at the hotel. Beach was very nice and right in front of the hotel. Perfect for relaxing and snorkeling :) got an aloha special price room. great deal!

Fantastic family gateway
It is a fantatstic family hotel. The Beach was very great and quietly. The water was clean and we had a fine snorkeling experience. Good food at the beach bar. We take a ocean view. I would prefer to book this view again. The aircondition in the rooms works very good and especialy without noice.

Two Kids and a Wedding
Family Friendly
The experience was very positive. The one thing I would recommend is training their staff a bit more on being a bit more hospitable. The location (right on the beach) worked great for us since we have kids who liked to go back and forth between the beach and the pool. The Resort was small but worked great for us because we had to travel less in between the pool, restaurant, and beach. I don't recommend staying in the cottages as they are in desperate need of renovation (those get a 1 in my book) were as the tower rooms are way more comfortable.

Do not stay in cottages
When I booked with this hotel, I booked the Aloha Saver which I thought It was in the tower, instead I was in the Garden Cottages. This cottage needed fixed desperately. You walk in a sm. entry way then you have 5 inches between the bed and the wall to get to the "bed" area. The bathroom was a mess! Bathroom faucet was leaking, it was hard to turn the cold off, shower was either steaming hot or freezing cold. Maid forgot to clean our room a couple of times, they ran out of wash clothes and hand towels. The towels had dark spots, see through and had holes. We were not able to upgrade because it would have cost us a lot more. I was very disappointed, I did talk to the hotel manager and he refund the parking fees only. As for the tower and rest of the hotel I can't say, but would I return to stay at the Royal Lahaina - NO....

Wonderful view!
We stayed in the cottages. Our 1st 3 nights we had a garden view but we upgraded to an ocean view for the last 2 days...it was really worth it!! We had a great time.

Best place we stayed in Hawaii
At check in we were upgraded to ocean view. Fantastic view from balcony. Saw several rainbows and sunsets. Nice big room and very well decorated and equipped.
