A little slice of heaven ...
The Royal Lahaina is undergoing major renovations and improvements. We stayed in the tower in a recently-renovated room. The bed, pillows and linens were of the highest quality, as was the flat-screen TV and bathroom amenities. The provision of white waffle robes was an added luxury. The A/C worked well and the view is beyond compare. Dinner at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant provided the best meal of the entire holiday. The macadamia-nut crusted mahi mahi is a must have if you are dining at the resort restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful - everyone from the housekeeping staff, to the front desk, to the pool attendants, do their best to make your stay memorable. We did self parking, but spaces are at a premium. Valet parking is $5 more each day, and at peak season, would be a worthwhile investment.

Warren and Annabelle's is a four-hour evening's entertainment with good food, amazing feats of magic and even a resident ghost. Great fun for adults and children alike. Book your tickets before leaving the Mainland, though, as it sells out weeks in advance.

Great getaway!
This resort has some amazing dining. The Luau show was also excellent but pricy. Overall, the resort is a nice place for someone looking for a getaway. I will come back to this resort for sure.

Amazing open-mall next to the resort if you are looking for cheap dining. If you wanna Snorkel, the beach next to the resort is the BEST place to Snorkel...perfect location.

Very Peaceful Room
The hotel recently renovated all the rooms and this room was very modern and comfortable. The new showers are very spacious and the room had lots of drawers for storing clothes. The flat screen TV was an added bonus. We especially loved opening up the wall to wall patio doors and extending the floor to ceiling shutters over the patio. That night, we slept with the just the shutters over the patio so we could hear the waves all night and still have the ocean breeze! We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel restuarant and the staff, particularly the restuarant manager, were very attentive and were genuinely interested in making sure that everything went well with our meal. If we return to Maui, we would definitely consider staying here again - with an ocean view room.

great value & very low key
I love this hotel! Very comfortable & relaxing environment. Not too fancy, but definitely fancy enough to make you feel pampered while in paradise! The private beach access is great-secluded & beautiful. The hotel grounds are well kept & the view from my room was absolutely incredible! I could see the ocean, the garden/golf course area, & the mountatins all from my balcony. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Great location also, hotel is very close to Lahaina. I would highly recommend this hotel to honeymooners or someone who simply wants to RELAX! Can't wait to go back!

Lahaina is a short drive (10-15 minutes)from the hotel. Great souvenier shopping & great places to eat. Also many activites such as whale watching are all right there.

This hotel is almost done being remodeled, so most of it looked really nice. I loved the decor of our room. I guess, my only complaints would be: Ice machines were broken, so we needed to go down to the bar to get ice each day. But the bar tenders were always nice and one in particular was very funny! The mini refridgerator really didn't keep anything cool. We had to put bags of ice in it to keep things sort of cold. That was a pain in the neck. I have never stayed in an Ocean View room before and it was beautiful. Even had a double rainbow that stopped at the beach in front of us. Truely amazing.

Goofey Foot was an awesome school to learn how to surf! The swapmeet by the airport is awesome! So is the one in Lahaina at the Convention Center. It is just over 3 miles south you can even go thru Front Street in Lahaina to get there if you want to check that out. Also, dinner at Kimo's is awesome!

Great Location for your money
The Royal Lahaina Resort was a great bargin for the very expensive Lahaina resort area of Maui. They upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite, it had a full kitchen and living room. The small cottage atmostphere was lovely and the beach was adequate (its hard to judge when there are so many beautiful beaches near by). The proximity of the hotel to so much of what Maui has to offer made it a fantastic choice.. just don't eat there, its expensive and not tasty.

Great location on the beach
Excellent value for the money. Good clean newly refurbished room in the tower with a great balcony view of the hills, gardens and the occean. The $10 per day parking fee is uncalled for, specially since finding a space is quite difficult. There is abundant space reserved for valet parking closest to the hotel; most of the time this valet reserved lot is quite empty. Over all a great place to stay.

Bubba Gump Shrimp is located on Front Street right on the Occean, has good food and drinks reasonably priced and provides beautiful sunset views from the window tables. A long walk or a short ride on the free tram shuttle that operates from the hotel on a regular schedule.

un bémol... notre chambre était au dessus d'un moteur général d'aération fonctionnant 24h/24h... impossible de rester sur le balcon, heureusement la clim était là. Sinon, prestation très correcte et des salades (family bowl) excellentes
