GOOD VACATION
Try not to get a room on the third to fifth floor, on one side of the hoted there is a big fan that makes a lot of noise.

Royal Lahaina in November
The hotel grounds are beautiful and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, the deal we booked was not as good as We booked a garden cottage what we got was just off the main road no where near the ocean. (Bad) So we went back and asked for a room nearer to the ocean and paid and additional $400 for a different cottage with two double beds for our honeymoon. The location and view were great but we paid a lot more on top of the original expense. The room was old and shabby and smelled like urine in the corner but we dealt with it because we had already switched and I didn't want to be a pain.

Good Place to Stay in Lahaina
This is a lovely resort. My only complaint is that the bar & restaurant, which are otherwise good, could stay open later at night for better service. The rooms and views are very nice.

A honeymoon must
We upgraded to the ocean view for our honeymoon and it was the best thing we could do. Each morning we got up with the perfect view of the ocean and another islands nearby. We were on the 3rd floor (just above the restaurant) in the building and our only complain is that we could hear the hawaiian music at night as they were playing in our room. Not a big deal for us, though. The beach is great and is almost inside the hotel. We spent almost all day outside the hotel in different activities and the car is a must. We were there during a tsunami warning from Canada and the crew worked perfectly in the evacuation plan. Great experience.

Ulalena is a show near the Front Street of Lahaina. It's a must for the theater lovers and later you can go have dinner at the Front Street where you can find really nice restaurants.

Great Location
Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was great. Loved the vallet parking. However, housekeeping staff was what we woke up to every day. They were extremely loud in the hallways. Also, the hot tube was awful. It was small maybe a 3 person and located in the farthest corner from the ocean/beach. I was extremely disappointed.

Wonderful Resort
Our stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The rooms were very nice, and the staff were very helpful.

Rooms are old and in bad shape
Had to change rooms as original room had no towels, TV did not work and showere was sketchy.

Great hotel - beautiful grounds.
I have stayed here many times before, but this time I stayed in a cottage. No complaints except for a big bug one day - maintenance slow to respond. I had a package deal with Dollar Rent A Car. Car was to be similar to a Hyundai Sonata, but they wanted to give me a Jeep - way too big for me to drive. When booking, I had no choice to select a compact, but I insisted on a small car, even though I paid for a mid-size. Not happy about that.
