I love our studio suite with the garden view. It was close to the ocean and close to the gazebo restaurant. It was really clean and the kitchen has all the utensils we needed. I would stay there again. We miss you Maui! One thing I forgot to ask - laundry facility on site.

We went to downtown Lahaina and had lunch at Aloha mixed plate. The Old Lahaina Luau is located there as well. The food is great and the show is great. Worth every penny.

Average hotel
The pictures of the hotel are a little deceiving. I have stayed at a previously Outrigger resort and it was much better than this one. The hotel is a little dated, but there was updates to the kitchenette and the bathroom. The other patrons were more the problem. Since there is no a/c, we had the windows open. There was the noise from the courtyard and/or our neighbors on their lanai. Every morning between 6-7 I got to hear some old man clear his throat every few minutes. That was my wake up call. Quite lovely when you are staying in paradise. But being courteous neighbor and waiting until 8 AM for the end of the posted quiet hours is too much to expect.

If you like being around people that are friendly this isn't a place for you!
When you say good morning to staff they just ignore you. Also when your out by the pool everyone just reads their books and doesn't even talk to you if you say something to them, they don't even play any music down there! Also if your a SMOKER you have to completely leave the property you can't even smoke on the balcony it is COMPLETELY a SMOKE FREE environment!!!

Anniversary getaway
A great place to stay in a GREAT location! The facilities are superb and the view is to die for. I highly suggest picking up some steak, seafood, and/or chicken to do on the gas grills they have, We enjoyed having dinner on the lani while looking out at the ocean. This location is also overlooking the whales and we were able to see them from the shore, We also were able to walk down to the water and snorkel with sea turtles, We found the reviews to be very true and this is a place we will come back to. Aloha

OK but pricey
stay was OK. But in order to get room service you have to specifically tell them. why can't they clean rooms everyday by default?

great low key place
We have stayed here twice and just love it. Napili Bay area has the best snorkeling options in several local bays - location is perfect for us. The hotel is simple, but very nice landscaping, views, excellent pools, hot tub. We love the low key condos like this place rather than those big ugly high rise hotels. The kitchen facilities provide everything you need and are ultra clean. We buy fresh, local fish and enjoy a quiet dinner on our lanai each night. Great little place...killer macadamia nut pancakes at the Gazebo by pool!

all in one
We stayed in the one bedroom condo overlooling the garden pool. The location was perfect for a short stroll to the gazebo area for breakfast, sunrises, sunsets, daily rainbows over Molakai, ocean swimming, snorkleing, and turtle watching,etc.-need I say more-It was fantastic. The grounds were kept immaculate. Like everyone else, we went into Lahaina several times and did touristy things like the submarine ride and drove to Hana, etc.,etc., but we always looked forward to returning to our condo and enjoying the peace and relaxation. We have been to Ohau, Kaui, and now Maui always staying at Outrigger hotels and condos and have never been disappointed. Overall, what we experienced in Maui cannot be duplicated.

Napili at it's best
Loved the location of the condo and the complex. Everything was great. Only bummer was that Cafe ole closed while we were there (indefinitely) so finding affordable food is a bit of a challenge in the area but to be expected. Used the great bbqs outside to grill fresh fish! Room and condo was perfect, only issue was that the upper unit had a squeaky pipe that went off when they used their water in middle of night and the sprinklers outside went off in middle of night and were really loud.

A hui hou!
My family and I stayed here in 2011 and 2012. We booked two rooms each time. Our stay in 2011 was fabulous and would have earned a 5 star rating. This year one of our rooms had a broken phone and the other a broken dishwasher. Monday-Friday, 8am--1pm, construction noise was unbearable just four rooms down from ours...with no warning from the staff. Nevertheless, the view is beautiful, the location is great, the Gazebo never disappoints and the overall sense of Aloha permeates the environment. We will likely return to the Napili Shores again next year (but I might call ahead and ask about construction before we arrive). Don't miss happy hour at the Sea House Restaurant just down the beach. Kapalua Beach is worth the walk, too. Aloha!
