Friendly to a fault

Being overbooked the first night of our stay, we were placed in the palace suite (being a group of 4) and then moved to our rooms the next day. for this "displeasure" we were comped breakfast for 4 for 4 days. The grounds are very pleasant. Many things to do on the grounds, and multiple resorts close by. The staff were polite and friendly.

Unbelievable staff....!!!

The weather during the first week of January was simply awful and we had 2 out of our 3 tours cancelled..however, the staff at the Hyatt made everything possible for us to forget the bad fortune.....and we did. Their professionalism and candor is the best we have experienced in a long time. Thank you so much guys!!! Luis & Rosa Lombardi

Perfect Honeymoon Hotel

We were thrilled with our experience at the Hyatt. This hotel is BEAUTIFUL! Gorgeous waterfalls and landscaping, huge pool and plenty of chairs for lounging. They have a few restaurants and the food is really good. The one downside is that the food and drinks are a little pricey but it was my experience that everything is expensive in Maui. The location is good, just a short walk to restaurants, bars and shops and a short drive to downtown Lahina and other off site activities.

If you like sushi you have to try Sansei. It was the best sushi I have ever had. It's just a short drive from the Hyatt. Prices are really reasonable as well.

Fantastic Hotel!

There is nothing better than being in a strange place and feeling perfectly at home. This is how we felt when we spent 7 nights at the Hyatt in Maui. The view was amazing, the room was spacious, the service was outstanding! we got the regency upgrade which is essential, it includes breakfast every morning, h'orderves and dessert every night. The pool has to be the best pool on the island, it has four waterfalls, a partial swim up bar and a basketball hoop! They also offer movie nights for the kids. The best part was the birds all over the place. I had a parrot say "Aloha" to me when I got out of the bathroom. I was hooked and didn't want to leave.

Perfectly Pleasant in Paradise

Swimming in the hotel while hearing the waves crash right onto the beach was fantastic. The luau was yummy with an entertaining show. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Don't forget to get your fancy drinks at the swim up bar in the swimming pools grotto area.
