Kauai Coast Resort

All the rooms seem to have good views. Full kitchen and a washer and dryer were great to have. Very nice property and their restaurant was excellent.

It was a great place, good location. However, Kauai Coast Resort business practice is desired to be better. They do not honor their financial obligations. They lie to your face and charge for it. I booked a tour with their concierge services. I become ill and we cancelled it. They were happy to issue a refund. Every day for 3 days we would come over to the concierge desk to see if it was posted, they would not. The day we were leaving, they PROMISED that it would be done that day. But nothing. I disputed this action with the credit card. However, Kauai Coast Resort responded that their policy is not issue any refunds. Do not deal with them, it will not worth your health.

Beautiful place and great location! And their restaurant is my favorite on the island. My only complaint is there is no sound insulation between floors. My upstairs neighbors were up at 6am and I could here every foot step. I eventually had to switch rooms. The floor insulation was just as bad but at least my neighbors slept a little later. Other than that the rooms are spacious, beautiful and well appointed. The staff was very nice! This is a great value!

This being our first time to Kauai, the location of the resort was perfect. Easy drive to the north, south and west shores. Located just outside the heart of Kapaa - we often walked to dinner or to get groceries. The room itself was perfect for the 4 of us. It had a full kitchen, which was great since we cooked one meal a day. We had a great view of the beach from our balcony. And the cleaning staff did a great job. We came back to a fresh room every day. However, the sofa bed left something to be desired, but all sofa beds do. The resort restaurant is AMAZING! We ended up dining there twice, we enjoyed it so much. OVerall, it was a great experience!

we do a lot of traveling and that includes several trips to the islands. we have never experienced service and smiles, genuine smiles, as we did at KCR, as they call it. the grounds are in perfect condition. we had a one bedroom unit and it was in great shape and very spacious. great value for the buck! ok, it is a timeshare but if you want to avoid the timeshare pressure, just ignore the phone calls to come to the office for your packet of coupons, etc. also, the restaurant on the premises is rated the best restaurant on the island and i agree it is outstanding. overall, a fine, fine experience.

We stayed on the third floor in a comfy suite. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location in Kapaa is very convenient to restaurants, grocery shopping, and local shops. The hotel is on a beach but like the other hotels in this area there are big flat rocks in the water so we drove a few minutes each day to different beaches.

We reserved a room at this resort for one night and were pleasantly surprised to get a room with the features of a timeshare condo. Everything was excellent.

It was ok but still expensive for the price. It was kind of clean, not up to hotel standards. This was my first stay in a hotel that gave a can of bug spray... Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

this was a retyurn trip to this property. We stayed in a 2 BR unit because it has an in room laundry facility. The room is very comfortable and the location is near 2 supermarkets and a drug store. The room is well appointed and provided free wireless internet services. Every room has some view of the ocean from the balcony including our 2br garden view unit, We enjoy walking the beach, but the beach is poor for swimming in the ocean. The onsite restaraunt is great. we went there 4 times during our 7 day stay. The hotel staff is always friendly. it was a great relaxing vacation.

The Kauai Coast Resort is a wonderful place! The rooms are nicely decorated, very comfortable bed, maid service was great. We had a garden view studio room which served us well. It has a microwave, little refrigerator, and enough dishes and silverware for 2. We even bar-b-qued steaks on the nice grills they have out in the courtyard. The grounds are kept up beautifully and we had hibiscus right beside our patio. The pool and lounging area is nice. All in all, we were VERY happy with the place, and the location is perfect. It is right by the Coconut Marketplace and Kapa'a Town.
