Five star budget for your pocket
Hotel accomodation was adequate and the room was very clean not to mention the hotel itself. Highly recommended for those on a budget.

IT was very nice and clean and in a nice setting in maui. It was in town near all the shops, and bus service to any where you want to go.

Good central location
The location of the Maui Beach Hotel was very convenient for my purposes. It is within walking distance to the shopping districts. The room was adequate and I was pleased to discover a refrigerator. The quietness of the rear patio and lawn down to the beach was a plus.

Not sure of the days when the Maui Mall has the Farmers Market, but that is quite an attraction for local produce and crafts.

I stay here every time I am in Maui for work
I have never had a bad experiance here. I have stayed at this hotel several times for work. When my office booked me at another hotel I refused and asked them to put me at the Maui Beach Hotel. It is a clean, safe place with friendly staff and a convenient location.

Front desk staff could be a little quicker to help guest. When there's a line, person in the back could come out and assist

Maui Beach Hotel, Kahului, Maui
Check in and out was easy and pleasant. The room AC was loud. Room was comfortable but small. Recent remodeling of the lobby area is nicely done.

I come to Hawaii for business twice a year, and this is the second time I've stayed at the Maui Beach Hotel. I will be staying again. There really is no budget type hotels on Hawaii, or non resort types, like Best Westerns or Hampton Inns,etc. They're all resort types. So it was really great to find this hotel, in the downtown area, good price. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. This is NOT a resort hotel, but they do have breakfast buffets, and dinner, and the food was excellent at both. It's nearby the places I need for business. I feel it's perfect for business travel.

There's a great Thai restaurant in the "Maui Mall" - more an outdoor strip mall -- where the Whole Foods is. "Thailand Cruisine" - Excellent. Won awards from Thailand. AND for a great nail salon, there's a salon in the same complex, across from the Thai restaurant. They do take walkins, but I'd call ahead because they're always packed. [...] is great there.
