Californian traveler
Avoid!
This hotel is very old, worse for the wear, and not clean. The pictures provided on the hotel's website are not representative of the condition of this place. The staff was rude and unhelpful. There's a $5 charge for parking.

Perfect and convenient
Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and could tell was well taken care of. Perfect for an overnight stay, or even longer. Felt very secure with locks on the hallway entrance doors. No complaints beside having to pay for parking, other than that it was a good stay.

Great location to Airport and Maui Arts and Culture Center
The staff were outstanding. The Best room was ordinary and had a very small old TV. The facility is in need of remodeling. The location in proximity of the airport and Maui Art and Cultural Center is excellent. I flew in for a concert and was less than 5 minutes from both places. The hotel offers free transportation to and from the airport. I would stay there again but would have less expectation than at first.

Good Location
Clean, but very small rooms. Depending on which room you get, some are very outdated. I travel here a few times a month for work and it is good for the value. The staff has seemed to lose my reservation on more than one occasion, so they really need to figure out a better reservation system. Close to the mall and the airport so no bad.

Twin Cities Couple
Aloha Cockroach!
My wife and I spent our first night in Maui at this hotel because of a late arriving flight and we were greeted by a cockroach scurrying towards us immediately upon entering the room. We were both a bit uneasy after that and after a long day of travel, so it wasn't a great first impression. The rest of our time in the hotel was fine (no more cockroaches sighted), but the hotel itself isn't anything special. The room was old and outdated and very muggy upon entering. The staff was nice and the view out back was a pleasant sight when we woke up in the morning. Overall, the only thing this hotel has going for it is being close to the airport as a transition hotel. There is a reason why the main photo of this hotel is that of the view out back.

If you are here on a Saturday, check out the Swap Meet that takes place about a half mile up the road. Great opportunity to get gifts for family or get some fruit and produce for the trip.

In a harbor with petroleum production
The pictures are deceptive. I would not stay here for the price or for the last resort if you want the feel of Maui. No way! The bar is not open often unless there is aprivate party in the hotel. Same food served buffet style every day. Airport and traffic noise.

Someone hit my car in the hotel parking lot
This hotel was Ok but someone hit my renter car in there parking lot of there hotel and dont stop. I with to the hotels manager and he dont care all he said is " in this part of the parking lot we dont have camera Sorry" How you dont have camera over looking all your hotel and parking lot. hate this hotel.

Short stay
Arrived at midnite and left before 7 AM ! The room was clean some of the lights didn't work ,the bed was wonderful.the room was huge good value for $. Didn't stay long enough to fully enjoy every thing they had to offer
