Wonderful family vacation
We rented a room with a full kitchen and it was a perfect type of accommodation for a family with two young kids. The room was always clean with the appropriate types of furniture and amenities for a very comfortable stay for a week. All the staff members we met were friendly, welcoming, and competent and the resort was ideally situated with a pool and the beach and lagoon nearby. The downtown area was close by and the resort is very close to many restaurants and a grocery store. We really enjoyed our stay at the resort and would stay there again if we visit Honolulu in the future.

Short walk from hotel
grocery shopping at the Food Land grocery store in the Ala Moana shopping center which makes it more convenient for a family traveling with young kids; rent a car for a couple days to tour Oahu which is a pretty small island and easy to get around in

Vacation
The outside was beautiful, but for the price it looked like a hotel on the mainland that paid half the price for. There was no room service which was very disappointing and I got hit with a timeshare pitch right after I got my keys...wow.

Great!
The Waikiki Marina Resort is a great place to stay. It is a walk down to the action but that's why I like to stay here...it's quiet and calm down at this end of the beach. You can be down in the heart of Waikiki in 10-15 minutes but are still close to restaurants and convenience stores here. The large rooms here have been recently updated so are really nice with fully equipped kitchenettes, modern baths and furniture on the lanai. I had a marina side room on the 9th floor and it was beautiful at sunset. There is a restaurant on-site but the service it mostly a hit although I had one big miss at breakfast. I won't hold that against them!

Expected Better
Wasnt great, First the requested room type was not met, Second the room was only cleaned once a week on tuesday (trash was emptied every day, wow), Third had to request towels for room every day. For what the hotel seemed to be and what it should hve been could have been better. It took away that vacation feeling and felt very stressful at times dealing with the resort and hotel.

very good experience
The staff was great. Very clean hotel. The hotel restaurant is seriously lacking in the way of a menu. We really could have used a hot tub on the premisses. The location is excellent, right on the marina, right next to the public lagoon, and a short walk to many other hotel bars and restaurants Overall, an outstanding experience..

Like staying at the Hilton for less!!
The room is really big, clean and comfy. We had a perfect stay. You're right next door to the Hilton Hawaiian village so it feels like you're staying there. You're close to a big mall (10 min walk at most), everything feels close.

Superb Vacation
The hotel was conveniently located between the Ala Moana shopping center and Waikiki which made it easy to get to both for dining out. The closest morning coffee/tea places were just minutes away. The restaurants in the hotel seemed to be reasonably priced. Overall, this hotel was a good value.

Affordable and Very Nice
We were happy with the hotel. Very clean, comfortable room with a full kitchen, even a blender to make my morning smoothie. Only down side was the noise due to our room being on the street side of the building but it was offset by the great price for the room.
