Wonderful service!
The hotel staff are wonderful!!! Everything about the hotel was amazing, but if I had to complain about something it would be the small swimming pool. Our rooms were cleaned twice a day, they give you beach bags with towels, sunscreen, water, and fruit for free. If its raining they'll offer you an umbrella.. Truly a 5 star experience with staff at your service!

best and fast service, super clean room
We stayed at Trump for 5 days. It was definitely a 5-star experience during the stay. We travel with two kids and hotel prepared kids size items. The room was cleaned twice a day. The valet parking is fast whenever we need the car (cost $30 a day). The location is within walking distance of all of the shops on Waikiki. The hotel is close to the north end of the Waikiki beach. So if you have young kids and need to access the shallow water at the other end (south) of the Waikiki, you will need to walk some. The only complain is the breakfast, for $33 a person, you barely get $10 worth food. There are many restaurants around serving breakfast at much better price to quality ratio.

Fantastic Trump Style Service
Trump knows how to give you what you want. The experience costs a bit more than at other locations, however, it's certainly worth it if you can afford it. Specific to this hotel, you have in room mini-suites which is a nice touch. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Downsides - we didn't have a balcony and the pool area is small but hey when you're on Wikiki what do you expect. Overall, a first class experience.

Modern Hotel in Waikiki
The rooms at the hotel are fantastic. I stayed in a studio which was a combination typical hotel room plus a kitchenettte. The hotel is located a block off of the beach, not on the beach. I ate breakfast a few times at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good. room service for dinner was excellent. The small pool has more of a boutique hotel feel than that of a big resort pool. The many concierges were very helpful.

Rent a car so that you can drive up to the north shore (watch surfers on the beach), down to the south beaches and east to Kailua beach. if you want to visit pearl harbor on your own (without using a tour), book your tickets in advance of arriving as they sold out individual tickets for the holiday week.

I've stayed at both the Halekulani and Kahala. IMO the rooms, service and amenities at the Trump are the best out of the three in Oahu.

Outstanding Honeymoon
Staff was super cordial, helpful, friendly, and went the extra mile to make us happy. We actually felt like family members there because the people were so friendly. The bed was terrific. I slept the best I've slept in a long time. The location was a block from the beach and the views were terrific. The food was pricey but delicious. There are less expensive options within a block. We hope to come here again.

Breakfast at Denny's or IHop is less expensive than the $33 per person plus tax and gratuity at the hotel. Or one could have the ala carte bowl of cereal for $8 as another example. The food there was delicious but decided to eat there once for breakfast only once.
