Stay Hotel Waikiki

I enjoyed my stay at Stay for the most part. My room was a good size for one person and I called ahead to request a balcony which was granted. The eighth floor definitely had the best views. Stay is about a block from Kuhio Beach and there were tons of restaurants around. The only real negative that I noticed was that the amenities (including the free wifi and continental breakfast) weren't free. They charged me $10/day when I got there. Also, I had requested a microfridge before I got there and they were apparently all taken. I had to wait 4 days to get it. Phyllis at the front desk is amazing - so friendly, very competent. Overall, I felt good about my experience and would stay there again!

I liked the hotel, location & staff. I did not like the "amenities" because I ended up paying 10 plus tax per day. There wasn't a fridge or table & chairs. But a week away from the kids on the Hawaiian beaches...can't beat that! :)

Had the best experience at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was the perfect starting off point to explore waikiki as well as the rest of the island. Will definitely be staying here again, much better than the huge impersonal hotels. Boutique is the way to go! The continental breakfast was a great start to our day. The only very minor issue we had was getting our movies to play the whole way through. But we didnt go to Hawaii to stay indoors so it was probably a good thing we had a problem with that. All in all had an awesome experience and look forward to returing soon!

I travel for a living this might be the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I.do not know where they got the pictures on your site. I do not think that is even the hotel in the picture. The only good thing were the girls st front desk. This hotel should not be on your site.

Excellent location friendy stuff for that price is good the amenities is good breakfast ,towel for the beach ,Internet ,and chairs,also for the beach .so many restaurant in the same block and 2 minuts wallking to the beach they give you a card to rent movies

The staffers at Stay are Top Notch!!! They always address you with a greeting smile when you are going in and out. This is also is good for security as every person walking in is acknowledged. They are also knowledgeable of the area and are not afraid to make recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The location is primo if you are a beach bum. The only reason I rated the amenities so lowly was that the internet was sporadic at best. It was nearly impossible to download/upload pics or keep a constant connection. I suggested maybe resetting the router and modem, but the staff I asked appeared to have no idea what I was speaking of. The rooms were designed well and could be described as “fun”. Every single staff member exceeded customer service expectations. The staff made up for any shortcomings. They were great!

Clean room and great location for the price. This hotel desperately needs an ice machine Half of the electrical outlets in our room did not function and were covered in duct tape. Room did not have a fold out suitcase stand which I was surprised about. The complimentary breakfast was pathetic. Didn't even have real cream or milk for the coffee; had to use the powdered stuff. Decided to go to Starbucks instead. Also, the hotel does not have enough parking to accomodate all its guests. Parking was full so I had to pay $20 a day to park in a parking structure two blocks away for the duration of out trip. Not very satisfied with this hotel except for the proximity to the beach. Will stay elsewhere or out of Waikiki altogether.

Good location and friendly staff do not make up for mutton dressed up as lamb (British expression) - meaning it gives itself three stars, but has the amenities of a surfers hostel. Breakfast for $10 a room is a joke - go to Starbucks! Small rooms and tiny bathrooms - and the garbage trucks give all a wake up call at 7am.

This was our fifth time in Waikiki and first time at this hotel,the room didn't have enough furniture, no in-room safe.Wi-Fi Internet not working. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
