You get what you pay for!
Where to begin, Hidden Hotel Fees, and I got stuck in the elevator with an older lady who was freaking out. Contacted the hotel staff for assistance from the broken down elevator and was told assistance was on its way. After 10 minutes in a HOT elevator with a Old Lady freaking out, I decided to open the doors manually and assist everyone out. Don't use Elevator number 11. I will most likely NOT stay here again.

Wrong rooms given twice
We were given a 3 single bed room and changed it to another room where it was occupied and the when i opend the door the guest screamed and jumped from their beds. it was a scary experince. pacific beach hotel restaurant is too expensive for lunch,dinner and breakfast.

Good value, but...
It's a good value hotel, but two things bothered us. The key card didn't work and we had to go every day (sometimes twice!) back to the reception to change it. That was a very long walk way and very annoying, since the elevators were terrible slow and we had to wait a very long time for them. Also, except one employee, nobody else ever apologized for the inconvenience.
