OHANA Waikiki West, a locally-owned hotel with plenty of island aloha is a favorite among families and couples seeking value and prime location. The hotel is situated two blocks from Waikiki Beach and surrounded by dining and shopping options. The souvenir bazaar, International Market Place, is located one block from the hotel. Some rooms have kitchenettes and all rooms offer plenty of extras, including complimentary Internet, area transport, newspaper, free local and U.S. mainland calls (limits apply), and OHANA beach tote.

Dated interior
Parking is very limited and not guaranteed. Also cost $25 per day in addition to room rate. Staff and procedures, A+. Worn carpet, dated colors, but clean and comfortable. 3 blocks from the beach. No view from our 4th floor balcony.

Low price hotel walking to Waikiki beach. Room is too small - low ceiling, micro-bathroom, color/texture is old. A/C works very slow- takes 2-4 hour to cool the room at night. Very ineffective in day. Overall descent value for money.

DISGUSTING AND GROSS
There were all sorts of problems with this place. For one there were prstitutes walking outside of the place looking for the next customers and that was awful. Hated it. They charge $25 a day for parking. And there is no breakfast in the morning.

Better than expected
For the price, Ohana West was better than expected. The room was clean and quiet, and very central to everything. The bathroom wasn't the nicest, but worked for our stay. We had a parking lot facing room, which was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, and there was a fridge in the room which was a huge plus. It's very central (right across from the International Market) so you can walk anywhere which makes it not necessary to have a car if you're just spending time in Waikiki. 3 blocks from the beach as well. We were very happy with Ohana West for the money we paid. As long as you go in with the expectation that it's not the fanciest hotel, it'll definitely work for those on a budget looking for a quiet place to sleep.

Family hotel ,well worth the look!
We come here very time we come to Hawaii . Great staff very helpful, great location with everything you need within walking distance. The free shopping trolley is a real plus .Overall another great stay !

Great Hawaiian getaway
Hotel could use a bit up dating like painting and more counters in kitchenettes. Would also be nice to have Wifi in rooms not just in lobby. The maid service and cleanness was excellent and she worked around our schedule

Ohana West Waikiki
Really enjoyed our stay. The room had a nice kitchenette which allowed us savings of cooking some meals in our room. Our room was on the 9th floor corner, inner balcony to a quiet courtyard vs. the busy street. The hotel has a Chilli's restaurant as well as a sandwich bar poolside & bar. Great location of hotel, only 3 blocks from Waikiki Beach, Food Pantry grocery store across the street, easy area to catch tours etc.

Good Hotel
Our 4-night stay was enjoyable. I brought my own wireless router so the lack of WiFi in the room was not an issue. Location was convenient and the price was reasonable for the area. Would go back.
