Perfect for our needs
Needed a safe, clean place to stay for a few days while visiting a relative. Very professional staff, accommodating and friendly. Appreciated the security with room cards needed to access elevators in an extremely active area of Waikiki. Room was very clean and comfortable with great housekeeping! Would stay here again - great value!

Nice place..especially if you like to be out and about
Some people like to spend a lot of time at their hotel when on vacation - although nice, this is not the hotel for them. Clean rooms with regular amenities (TV,coffee pot hair dryer etc..) small balcony - standing room only - street view. Tiny pool, but ample hot tub. Very friendly staff. Accessible to all things Waikiki + covered parking with day rate for hotel guests makes it a great place to sleep after a long day of running around Oahu. Great sports bar with THE best nachos I have ever eaten.

Friendly Staff
We booked a room at this hotel, but when we arrived to check in we were told they upgraded us to their other hotel (Ohana East) 3 blocks away. I'm not sure why, but we were fine with it since it was just up the street. Nice staff, very friendly and helpful. I didn't get to see the rooms at the Ohana Malia, but I did think the lobby at the Ohana East was nicer.

Mostly excellent.
We stayed at this hotel over the weekend for my daughter's soccer tournament that was on Oahu. The location of the hotel was centrally located in Waikiki. The rooms were clean. The parking garage was pretty hard to navigate due to very small. Every night there was peaceful and perfect except for the last night. There was a party in the room next door that was very loud until 5am. My wife, child and I couldn't get a good night sleep. When I complained to the front desk, and asked for a reduction on my bill, they said I would have to contact the travel agent in which I purchased the hotel reservations. They didn't seam to have much compassion.

Great couple getaway
The property is a bit dated but the staff was great! Location was a few blocks from the beach but near several delicious restaurants and the mall. I loved that rooms offered free internet connection so don't forget to bring your laptop. Rooms were cleaned every day-I would definitely stay here again.

Clean hotel with excellent location
The location was very convenient to the Waikiki strip. Hotel staff was very quick to offer assistance. Located in same building with a excellent sports bar and I Hop Restaurant. Would recomment to friends and family!
