Miramar At Waikiki

Miramar Hotel is in a great location, at the back of International Market, which when you walk through it you end up on Kulakaua. And the beach is right there, just between the Outrigger Hotel and the Chessecake Factory. You can tell the hotel has some years on it because the beds are not very comfortable. The 5th floor pool area is great, lots of chairs to sun yourself on and a bar. Bus stops are right across the street next to the Food Pantry where you can pickup any grocery's you need.

Seems like the Hotel went thru an upgraded renovation with the rooms and furnishings. My room was clean, comfortable with all the amenities needed. Not to mention the overall cleanliness of the hotel itself, including the hallways and lobby. Highly recommend this property without hesitation!!!

This hotel was very close to everything. Right next to the market place, and the best places to eat. Pool is cold, and not much action. Pool bar pretty dead. But there are so many great bars and clubs within 1 block it did not matter.

The hotel lobby was beautiful and the rooms spacious with a nice partial view of ocean and surrounding area. The parking was a real pain as the hotel does not seem to manage the parking area. A cash only system of $20.00/day. Had a late flight out so went 1 and 1/2 hours over on parking time and was charged $13.00 for that time. Beware of that. they take advantage of you. Make sure you have some cash on you. The hotel was located very near Diamond Head which was convenient for driving along the beautiful east and north shore of the island.

This hotel had horrible service both in room service and customer service. Me and my girlfriend were suppose to get a one bed room with a fridge, mircowave and ocean view, we got a 2 bed room, city view with only a tiny fridge. Then had ants and roaches in the room and offered to fumigate and keep us in there, after a fuss we moved to another room. This room was the one we were suppose to have but had makeup and blood stains on the pillow and sheets. Hotel wouldn't give a refund. We are never staying at the Miramar hotel again.

location, location, location ! everywhere you turn, there is somewhere to shop, eat, or swim. also, they have upgraded the tv's which was a nice surprise.

I am not complaining about the cost of the hotel since you get what you pay for. The lobby was nice and the location ok but we were only staying a few nights. I was glad about this since Waikiki was not what we expected and only a site seeing hotel until we spent the next week on the other side of the island. The room had a mildew smell and the shower was heavily molded. We did ask for it to be cleaned twice and eventually we were told that it could not be cleaned but had to be repaired. Something that could not be done while we were there. I killed a bug on my bed sheet and am not sure what it was but it did leave a stain. I pulled the sheet back in anticipation of clean sheets but that did not happen. Both mornings when I turned the lights on in the bathroom I had to kill roaches, four in total. My suggestion is if you are looking for an inexpenisive hotel stay at a chain hotel, at least there is a chance that someone from the corporate office will inspect once and a while.

Wired Internet in room .. They couldnt provide a wireless router. Staff was ok, not rude but not really concerned about great service. After staying at a b&b in Maui and Marriott at Kona, this hotel was a let down for about the same price. Location was good, bang in the middle of Waikiki, a block from the beach. Breakfast was quite steep... We ate out most mornings. Asking $20 per day for parking was extortion... But most parking lots had similar rates.

clean, nice, convenient location close to restaurants, shopping and beach. Pool is not large.

I went there for vacation to Hawaii. Staff and room were great!
