The Maile Sky Court symbolizes the opening to action of Waikiki with its location at the beginning of Kuhio Avenue. Just a stroll through the park to Waikiki Beach, this high rise hotel is also conveniently located near the Hawaii Convention Center and the new restaurants and shops of the Waikiki Beach Walk.

Moderately priced hotel rooms, studios with the built-in burners or one bedroom suites with microwaves all come equipped with coffee maker, in-room safe, iron/board and air dryer. A combination of bedding, neatly decorated rooms with aloha shirt artwork and panoramic views of the ocean, city or mountains from the higher floors make this property an incredible find.

Swim in the pool, relax in the whirlpool spa, or simply tan and doze on the spacious sundeck. Get a haircut or styling from the beauty salon before your night on the town. Sip a cool cocktail or shoot a game of billiards at the poolside bar. Pick up necessities or gifts from the sundry store or book adventure and sightseeing tours from the activities desk. Use the 24-hour self service business center to plan and plot. On property coin operated laundry services also available. This full-service hotel is nicely equipped for whatever you desire. Within walking distance of the Maile Sky Court you'll find the excitement of the new Waikiki Beach Walk and popular restaurants from Keo's Thai Cuisine and Holokai Grille to Tony Roma's and CheeseBurger Waikiki.

With nearly 600 rooms, along with Free Wireless Interent access in the lobby, the Maile Sky Court has the ideal location, facilities and amenities to serve groups, business and leisure travelers.

Parking is available for $25 per day.

All Aqua Hospitality managed hotels and resorts are non-smoking.

BANG FOR THE BUCK

With only about a 12-15 minute walk to Waikiki Beach, this hotel is a nice alternative to the pricey resorts on the beach. Staff is friendly and calls to the front desk are answered quickly. Room was clean and a nice size, but lacks a microwave oven. Would stay again in the future..

It was good for me....

Njce enough property. Restaurant on site has pretentious pricing and not the best wait staff (YMMV), but there is a Cheese Burger place two blocks away that has less expensive breakfast and MUCH better staff. Do not make eye contact with the Tour/ Time-Share folks in the lobby: a simple "NO, Thank you" usually will do the trick if you forget... The Lobby is pleasant and open air and they provide free WIFI there. In room internet is an up-charge along with safe and parking. ( In room safe up-charge irritated the YAK SQUEEZE out of me, but what are you gonna do? Add $3.25 per night to advertised charge and lower your star rating when you give a review...) Keep your A/C running constantly (window units in a 47 story building believe it or not). That's the highlights, folks... keep in mind you will still be in paradise and the $3.25 a day safe charge will fade from your memory.... eventually....

Dining tip: In Hotel

On premises restaurant was over priced and the condiments set on the table were spoiled. The waiter lacked the class/ experience to remove spoiled syrup from the table (presumably leaving it for the next guest).

Very accomodating

The hotel was very accommodating when our group trip of 11 was turned to 6 do to a member being ill. The Hotel upgraded one of the rooms to a suite along w/ adding a cot to each of the beds to accommodate our group. The hotel staff was helpful in recommending different activities and were extremely hospitable. We were hardly in the room, this trip was not to spend much time sleeping, it was more for activities and really doing all the tourist things possible.

Maile Sky Court

Very good overall, wireless free in lobby, though slow. Clean and pleasant, easy to walk to most locations. Bus stops very nearby. Iron and hair dryer, fridge, air conditioning and TV in room. Sound went off on the TV system for a day, needed a reset twice. Staff were helpful and nice. Good overall view from many upper windows. Only complaints were some noise from the elevators ( I assume) 24 hours a day. Wear earplugs at night. Pool was small and very cold. The attached restaurant is pleasant and has a good breakfast.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Walk to Waikiki about 8 minutes. Make good use of Fort DeRoussy area beach. Much quieter than Waikiki. A nice walk through the park straight down from the hotel.

Maile

We stayed for eight nights. You have to pay 18 dollars extra for parking a day. You have to pay for the coffee in the room. No microwave for heating kids food. Location was ok, on the east end of Waikiki. Elevators had power malfunctions and shut down. Front desk staff was nice. Housekeeping did their job but snooped too much and was missing change of all things. Left it out and counted it to see what would happen. And some disappeared when I got back. All in all ok place if single group or something like that but not a good place for families.
