Waikiki beachfront wonderland
Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa is Waikiki's only true resort destination, with 22 oceanfront acres offering the perfect mix of exceptional resort accommodations and classic Hawaiian hospitality. Sink into the widest stretch of white sand in Waikiki: a serene beachfront lagoon, lush tropical gardens with exotic wildlife and cascading waterfalls, majestic views of Diamond Head and stunning sunsets -- plus more than 18 restaurants and lounges, 90 shops and services, a spa and much more.
Highlights
- Marvel at the beachfront Paradise Pool with Waikiki's longest waterslide or wade in a real oceanfront lagoon
- Poolside Polynesian revue and free beachfront fireworks show every Friday night
- Connect kids with Camp Penguin, offering on-property activities and offsite adventures
Location
The resort spreads out along the western edge of Waikiki beach, where the sand is widest and the water shallow and safe for kids. Take the beachfront boardwalk to the U.S. Army Museum, a few minutes away, or walk another few minutes to the heart of Waikiki. In the other direction, Hawaii's largest shopping center, Ala Moana, is an easy 15-minute stroll.
Rooms
Five graceful towers ring the resort with a total of nearly 3,000 rooms and plenty of city, mountain and ocean views. Each tower is unique, but all feature bright, contemporary rooms with private balcony, Hilton Serenity Collection Bed and Bedding, high-speed internet access (fees apply), television enabled for various entertainment modes, and refrigerator. Select towers feature their own swimming pools and sundecks.Dining
Choose from 18 dining and bar options. Tropics Bar & Grill is one of Waikiki's best new beachfront hangouts, with fresh Island dishes, live musicians and sinful sunset views. Lappert's offers Hawaii's best ice cream (must-try flavor: Kauai Pie). The Waikiki Starlight Luau is an all-evening adventure held under the stars.
Recreation
- Paradise Pool, 10,000 square feet of slides and swimming
- Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, a 5-acre saltwater lagoon
- Camp Penguin, a day camp for kids ages 5-12
- The offshore Atlantis Submarine, diving to 120 feet for views of reef life
- Spirit of Aloha Catamaran, offering a variety of sailing adventures

Complete Satisfaction
Staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village was fantastic. My wife and I both had a very relaxing and enjoyable week stay. Many things to do, not only in the resort, but in very close by shops and activities. Many thanks. Martin & Thassamon

Pricey when you get there
This hotel was very nice as far as amenities go but they nickel and dime you for everything. Daily resort fees and parking were ridiculous. Our room was right next to the elevators so we had to hear that every nite. Also found some little ants in our room. The pools and proximity to the beach were great! The fitness center was also very nice. Lots of good shopping right in the village. Overall, it was nice but wish I had stayed at the Royal Hawaiian instead.

Hilton Village
It was the first experience at Hilton Village and I would not recommend this hotel to others. There are to many hidden fees. Resort cost and parking is 59.00 daily. there is a bird problem so you must stay by your food if you wish to eat. It is a very congested area for driving and taking public transit. They catered more to non US customers then US customers. The other down side is pressure sales for time shares that are way to costly to be interested in. Room was nice and hotel staff were nice and friendly. Restaurants on site had poor service quality and the staff were not friendly. The doves pigeons and other birds were a serious problem and when brought up to managements attention they stated well your in Hawaii you will have to get used to it.

I stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village every time I vacation in Hawaii...it's my home away from home...you never really have to leave the village, they have everything from good food, fun entertainment, great shopping and even fireworks, what more can you ask for, oh and the beach is right outside your door..I've been there with friends and I've been there alone, either way it's great!

What a wonderful 2 weeks! I'd love to do it all again.
I stayed at this hotel in 1970 the last day of my husband and my R&R from Vietnam. It was a truly lovely and nostalgic visit this time. Many changes, all to the good. A really superior hotel experience in possibly the most idyllic location on the beach and in the world. The staff are attentive and completely responsive to one's every need. Very impressive. If you are going to stay in congested Honolulu this quiet wonderful spot is a haven while you visit the more heavily visited areas of the island. Rainbow Towers-beautiful renovation!

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
Cheesecake Factory is one of the cheaper better places for GOOD food in Honolulu. This does not seem to be a city for good cuisine even in the highly rated restaurants with excessive prices. Quality does not come close to what you pay!

Nice hotel
We just got back and had a blast the whole time we were there. Pools are beautiful with attentive wait staff. Right on the beach too! Not too many children in mid May when we went. Beat the summer crowd which was nice.
