The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort boasts 22 acres of roaring waterfalls, huge water slides, fragrant botanical gardens and fine white sand. Local artists Herb Kane and John Young have adorned the inside walls with original works, and there's something for everyone to do in the resort's 10,000-square-foot Super Pool, along with morning yoga and hula aerobics classes. The resort is home to many fish, birds and turtles, and guests can even feed the resident penguins during visits. When it's time for a feeding of your own, no less than 18 eateries include your own personal chef at Benihana or a family-friendly brunch at the Rainbow Lanai. Cap it all off with a Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage, before stretching out on the mosaic tiles of the Mandara Spa's private pool, or immerse yourself in Polynesian culture with weekly fireworks and luau celebrations on the beach.

Head over to the main thoroughfare of Kuhio Avenue for the best Waikiki nightlife, or travel a few miles inland to downtown Honolulu for attractions like the State Capitol and 'Iolani Palace.
Hints and tips
Of the five towers at the Hilton Waikiki Beach, Kalia Tower and Ali'i Tower have their own check-in desks, making it easy to bypass lines in the main lobby.

Choose Rainbow Tower for spectacular panoramic views or Ali'i Tower for the utmost in privacy - including a separate sundeck, swimming pool and whirlpool.

Great bargain

The hotel was updated, clean, and close to the beach. It was also walking distance to a ton of restaurants (buffalo wild wings, IHOP, charthouse, etc).

Great Trip!

Beautiful hotel on the end of the Waikiki Beach strip. This is a great hotel for a family with small children - lots of activities and water slides for the little ones. The property is very large and you can stay there several days! The restaurants are average - Pronto Pickle on property is a great low cost alternative for families. I would go back, love the ocean view from the Rainbow Tower!

Hawaiian Hilton

I stayed here 4 nights with my family to attend a conference. We come to Hawaii regularly for vacations, and usually stay elsewhere, but because the conference was here, we decided to stay here. It started off poorly, as the check-in line was long, and by the time I got to the front, there was only one person working. It took around half an hour. After that however, everything was fine. We had an ocean view in the Rainbow Tower. The room was large enough and clean. The best part was the Hilton conference center which is on site and very large and comfortable. It is great to be able to leave my room five minutes before being needed at the conference. They did have a new computerized elevator system in my hotel building, and although it was confusing at first, I think it overall speeded up the elevator service. Of course, being right on the beach is great, although I didn't get to spend a lot of time there.

Hilton Hawaiian Vilage

We had a great time. I think we were upgraded for free because we got a room with a partial ocean view instead of garden facing construction. Enjoyed the entertainment at the bar. Everything is in the village--so convenient. However, the restaurant food was pricey and was surprised to find out that parking is not included in the resort fee.

Best hotel ever!

While we were not in the beachfront building, our room was more than adequate with comfortable bed, very clean accommodations. The front desk staff were always glad to assist us in any way. We had a late day flight and were able to use a hospitality room to shower and change late in the day. Coffee in room was very good, but beware a $30/day resort fee charged at check in and parking fee is $33/day valet, $27/day park yourself and parking is not so near the building. The food is very expensive but an ABC convenience store saved the day for us. All in all, this is a gorgeous place to stay.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki

I just came back from the HHV. overall it was pleasant experience at hilton hawaiian village. location is very good, you are right next to waikiki beach and you can use all the hotel facilities while at it. It is huge place and beautiful too, a lot of stores and good restaurants, of course they are all over priced but which is expected. However, if you don't like busy traffic and super high parking rate, you shouldn't come here. Not just this hotel, you should avoid waikiki area all together. be aware of resort charge of $31 a day, and if you use their parking garage, overnight self parking is $27. so you could be paying extra $60 or so every night you stay there (other hotels got similar price) It was ex[ensive but I did it for peace of mind. I thought about parking in ala moana shopping center, but I heard some horror story about parking in public, which is dangerous in hawaii. but overall hilton hawaiian village left me good impression. only negative experience I had was that they overcharged me without any explanation, which I am going to call and find out soon.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

restaurants inside hotel are little too expensive for what they are (they are tasty but not worth the money) There are a lot of other super good restaurants that are affordable and delicious all around hotel with in 30 min walk distance. Food court in ala moana shopping center is awesome too (super crowded)

Perfect

This hotel is in a wonderful location, there is a ton to do in the village and they make it very easy to get around to other locations also. The pools are great, the lagoon is nice. Everyone that worked in the hotel and all the shops and restaurants were very nice and make you feel very welcome. I would recommend anyone to visit this hotel as we had the best vacation ever at this hotel. Our first room was very loud due to construction, but the hotel moved us and upgraded our room without question. Just a wonderful hotel all around.

Entertainment tip: Not Applicable

If you are planning on going somewhere that you aren't taking a shuttle, take TheBus. It's only $2.50 a person and very easy to figure out the routes. The hotel recommended us to take a taxi and it was crazy expensive, we figured out thebus and ended up going downtown much more and felt it was much easier to get around.
