Contemporary glamour on the edge of Waikiki
The twin towers of the Hawaii Prince Hotel are architectural landmarks at the west entrance to Waikiki. Glass elevators travel outside the towers to showcase city and mountain views and a grand, lobby looks out on a yacht harbor. Waikiki's best stores, mega-shopping center of Honolulu and Waikiki Beach are a short walk from the hotel, affording an ideal stay for both shoppers and beachgoers. Great view
The Hawaii Prince Hotel is located at the north end of Waikiki. You can easily walk there (about 1 mile, depending on which part of Waikiki) or take the hotel shuttle which runs from midday to 10pm. So you can escape from the hustle and bustle but still enjoy the convenience. The room decor is a little dated but adequate. The high speed internet access can be slowed at times and costs US$11.95 per 24 hours. The best part of the hotel is that every room has an ocean view. We stayed on the 26th floor and had a spectacular view. The windows open to let in the tropical breezes, which automatically turn off the air-conditioner. Each room has a huge bathroom with separate toilet and shower. Their staff is very courteous and helpful. The hotel has a couple of restaurants and a coffee shop. If you like Japanese food, I highly recommend their Hakone restaurant, which is supposed to be one of the best Japanese restaurant in O'ahu. I can attest to that. There are also a couple of chain restaurants adjacent to the hotel if that's what you like. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

First Class Hotel!
From check in to check out, our stay at the Hawaii Prince in Waikiki, was a wonderful experience. The warm friendly staff and very clean and well maintained beautiful amenities help to make our 9 nights there a true dream vacation. The views of the harbor, the ocean and the park from our window provided beautiful pictures, and the magnificent sunsets from that vantage point left longlasting memories. We highly recommend the Hawaii Prince to anyone vacationing in Waikiki.

More than we expected
The Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki was very clean, had friendly employees, was close to all amenities via free shuttle bus, had great view of the marina with spectacular sunsets, and was within walking distance of the Ala Moana Shopping Centre. The beautiful marble bathroom & shower were both separate from the vanity area. There was a complimentary coffee perculator & a bar fridge with free coffee & bottled water replenished daily. The pool area & fitness centre were both well equiped & well maintained daily.

Perfect location, beautiful sunset
The location of this hotel is perfect. Just off the beaten path but still close enough to easily get where we wanted to go. The room was amazing, the bed was the most comfortable I think I've slept in. The staff, from front deck to housekeeping, went above and beyond to make this part of our trip extra special.

The location of the hotel seems out of the way on a map but we found that everything we needed was within walking distance. But then again, with such a beautiful location who would want to see it from a car??? So, there is really no need to rent a car.

Great Location
Went there to Relax and Shop.... The service at the hotel was splendid could not ask for better service.. The Location to the shopping area was only a very short 5 Minute walk to the Largest Shopping Area in Hawaii... Dining outside of the Hotel was only a few doors away so we had a variety of dining options... The Hotel Lobby was also a very relaxing area and the swimming pool was superb

Spectacular views!
We were told the rooms were all oceanfront and we weren't disappointed! We had a spectacular view of the boats harbored in the marina below and Magic Island to our right. Located walking distance between the great Ala Moana Shopping Center (which has EVERYthing) and Waikiki Beach, for us it was the perfect location. Everything was top notch. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Easy to park in hotel garage. Restaurant staff very pleasant - food a bit overpriced but good.

If you must "live at the beach" (Waikiki) every day, then find a hotel closer. We loved this place because we rented a car and drove to other less populated beaches.

Great Location
For me, this was a wonderful hotel. Initially, I was disappointed because it didn't offer the amenities like some of the other hotels and the room was kind of small. However, after one day, I really appreciated this hotel. The staff was wonderful, everything including the rooms and the grounds were clean and well-kept. Even though my son (18) wished there were more amenities, I was glad there weren't. I was able to rest when needed without the crowd of people, small children and waiting in line for different things. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Being slightly away from the true hustle and bustle of Waikiki Beach, this hotel ended up being perfect for us!

You are just a short walk away from the beaches, restaurants and a fantastic shopping mall! Even if you don't want to walk, Honolulu has a wonderful public transportation system that you can utilize.
