Dining
- Pakini Poolside Bar
- Enjoy cool librations such as Kahlua Colada & Hula Girl & casual fare including burgers, salads and Sandwiches at the Pakini Bar poolside Bar.
- Ruth Chris Steakhouse
- It might seem like a risk to venture away from steaks at Ruth's Chris, but the risk will be rewarded. Try our Market Fresh Seafood selection, cooked to perfection. Or the popular Ahi Tuna Stack, seared rare, topped with Colossal lump crabmeat and served sizzling with red pepper pesto. There's even something for vegetarians with our Grilled Portobello Mushrooms - marinated Portobello mushrooms on fluffy garlic mashed potatoes with grilled asparagus, broccoli, tomatoes and sizzling lemon butter. At Ruth's Chris, steak is king, but the royal family is large. All decisions should be this difficult.
- Kaiwa Waikiki
- A Tokyo-based teppan fusion restaurant uniquely combining traditional and contemporary tastes into innovative and sophisticated dishes in an ultra-chic atmosphere. Enjoy Kai's original creations from the teppan counter and sushi bar.
- Yard House
- The Yard House is an upscale-casual eatery known for its extensive menu, classic rock music, and world's largest selection of draft beer. The menu of American Fusion cuisine includes an impressive selection of appetizers, salads, pastas, sandwiches, individual-size pizzas, seafood, steaks, ribs and chops. Late-night dining is available, and each restaurant can accommodate groups for large parties.
- Roy's Waikiki
- Roy Yamaguchi's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine blends fresh local ingredients with European sauces and bold Asian spices, always with a focus on seafood.

Good experience and would stay here again
I had a nice time at this hotel and would stay here again. The main reason for potentially not booking this hotel again in the future is the cost of parking. It was $30 a day to park your car, however they onlt have valet. We were in and out every day which added another $15 or so for parking, just to tip the valet. That was a major additional expense added to our trip. The free breakfast in the morning was great and the hotel had great views and a great location.

One of the better ways to stay in Waikiki
Second time in the E.S. The first time was with children, and the second time was without. Great location with good views of the ocean, even if not totally oceanfront. Staff was friendly, the room was spotless, and the views from my oceanfront room were wonderful. I think this was the same room I had several months ago. Extra perk is that you get the benefit of entertainment from the hotel across the street, as well as some of the good entertainment from the E.S. happy hour. One group was phenomenal - played everything from One Republic to Journey to Alabama to Motown. The breakfasts and happy hours make the overall cost of Waikiki drop quite a lot with no loss in the quality of the experience. Eat a good breakfast, see the sites, catch a local lunch and dinner and enjoy happy hour before heading out for nightlife. One downside is that the wireless internet is a joke, practically useless. If you want to surf for local attractions, make tour reservations or anything, it is back to the 1990s to use the hardline. Another is that my suite had no microwave, which kind of makes the "suites" part problematic. You can't take advantage of warming up excellent leftovers or budget cooking to save dollars for the city. USPS is around the corner, for shipping back gifts, and another private expensive carrier is downstairs. Great restaurants are literally downstairs or around the corner. Catamaran ride is right across the street (do that before you leave). Overall a great option both for families who need room and value and people who want almost zero cheesy-ness and some good comfort and good location. Too bad the air travel wasn't as comfortable and high value as the hotel.

Great getaway
We had a great time in the Embassy Suites hotel. Our view of Diamond Head & downtown Waikiki was swell. We could even see a bit of the ocean, too, if we looked off to our left from the balcony.

GREAT ESCAPE EXPERIENCE
We hadn't been to Waikiki in years and felt a little disoriented. Every one was friendly, professional and eager to help. Our room was immaculate ( no critters ) and well supplied with necessities. The location made it so easy to shop, eat and sight-see. We never missed having a car. We'd gladly stay at Embassy Waikiki Beachwalk in the future.

Sightseeing tip:
Long walk from hotel
We had trolly passes that we didn't use. Almost everything in Waikiki was within walking distance for an active person. The trollies weren't always available when and where we wanted, and took longer than we'd liked.

great family getaway
we loved all the accomadations but I did get a surprise when we arrived. I thought the payment forthe 5th grand-daughter was on the final bill. It ended up costing me over $500 more, which I wasn't real happy about. But we did have a great time andeveryone seemed to enjoy themselves. [...]
