Comfy quick visit
There wasn't any parking around this hotel except for valet. The valet staff was helpful and check in was quick and extremely hospitable. The room was cozy and very modern with wood floors and a big flat screen. I liked the comfy yet firm queen sized bed. The shower head was awesome with great pressure. And best of all it was in the middle of all the action. I could see myself staying at the Courtyard in the future.

Okay sums it up
The biggest issue was cleanliness, the halls, elevators and rooms appeared to lack regular vacuuming. The bedding and towels were stained as was the bathroom tile. The bathroom layout is also awkward with a small sink and no vanity. Our room also featured a small closet with doors that constantly got off the track. The decor overall was nice and had a few nice touches such as an area to access internet, scan and print. I also saw a game room with a large tv and consoles and of course a small and very public bar. I read on yelp that their spa is pretty highly regarded but everytime I looked over it seemed to be closed. FYI neither of the 3 towers appeared to have a beach view but the hotel was relatively close to Waikiki Beach and shopping. One of the biggest disappointments as far as amenities was that the main pool is not heated and is in the shade most if not all day. We made it work but if I return to Waikiki I won't be staying here.

Good location, small room
Location was great, but room was very small and not quite the typical Courtyard Marriott. The carpet was a little worn in my room and the fixtures like sliding door and bathroom fixtures were also a little worn. On the plus side, the hotel did not charge a resort fee, which a lot of the other hotels in the area charged.

Good overall value for proximity to Waikiki
Clean, close to all the popular Waikiki destinations...nothing super special about the room...in fact, rather smallish...but you're not theta much anyway, so no biggie. Staff was courteous, independent coffee shop on ground floor made it easy to grab and go. My only real complaint is the mandatory $32 per day parking fee on top of your hotel bill..as it's valet only...so be ready for that unexpected expense. Other than that, good overall value for the area.

Short walk from hotel
Every major designer brand, good eateries (especially "Dukes" on the beach (next door to the Royal Hawaiian hotel) is the best restaurant and salad bar in Honolulu in our opinion...don't miss that.

Nice BUT not what I expected
The description of the hotel room was not as described. I upgraded to a larger room 320 sq ft but it was actually 270 sq ft. I was told that it had a partical ocean view, none of the rooms had a ocean view. Also it was suppose to have a living and sitting area, far from it with the king size bed it was just room enough to walk around it and the furnishings were old and not in very good condition but the bed was very comfortable. Also the room was in an annex building, not the main hotel.

Not so King size bed
We had stayed at the Marriot once before and enjoyed ourselves. Room 305's king size bed was more like a full which made our stay a little cramped

Good Location, little pricey
A good location, not that busy street. Had a corner room from which (14 fl.) nice view all to way to ocean. Breakfast is $12 coupon to small next door restaurant. Pool is only for (small) children. The real drawback is parking, it's 3rd party valet only and $32/night and from our car they busted the tire by smashing it to the curb, but admitted it but the results of the process are not yet known. Rooms are small as typical at city hotels, had refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. The price is somewhat high for the sq-ft, but staff genuinely friendly and efficient. Would consider (w/o rental car) to return by knowing what to expect, but would do some price checking around first.

I was told that everything is more expensive in Waikiki...even the IHOP so be prepared and if you're going there to shop, consider going outside of Wikiki to do it.

The room was perfect for our family. It was a little farther from the beach then we thought. It would have been nice if breakfast was included. The cleanliness, comfort, and staff were great.
