Aqua Waikiki Wave

We travel a lot and it was our first time in Hawaii. I checked in w/ my wife and son and we are just so glad that we chose AQUA WAIKIKI WAVE. Everything was within walking distance which made things very convenient for us. The front desk was very accomodating and friendly. The filipino housekeeping & maintenance people made us very proud bec. they made sure our room is clean everyday. The tours & travel desk was also very accomodating and patient in taking care of our tour requirements. We loved the interiors of the room. And the fact that the hotel is newly renovated made our choice almost perfect, although we wished there is room service for travelers like us who doesn't want to dress up & go out of the room for breakfast before we start our day since tourists like us are always in a hurry to catch the group tour. But the Chinese restaurant at the lobby served good chinese food and it made our day perfect! We were also expecting a view of the bay since that's what we reserved. Our overall experience in the hotel is almost perfect thou and we will definitely always consider AQUA WAVE WAIKIKI again in our next trip to Honolulu.

This was my first time at this hotel and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good value on their buck. The rooms were very comfortable and rooms were cleaned in a timely manner. Although this hotel does not offer free shuttle service to the most common tourist sites such as Diamond head and Pearl Harbor, the bus stop is only 1 or 2 blocks away. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating, always willing to help out and found that they were very knowledgeable. If they did not know something, they were very quick to find out the information. The hotel is right next to the international market place, so essentially at the heart of Waikiki. If your looking for an all inclusive 5 star resort with a lot of ammenities, then this may not be the place for you. However, there is so much to do in Waikiki, that it would be ashame to spend your entire time there in the hotel. However, for the location and price,its hard to beat.

We were quite surprised to find that the room was a junior suite with a king-sized bed AND a queen in the same room...Small in room kitchen-ette. Nice HD TV..two balconies..the hotel isn't located in the greatest part of town, but it wasn't a major issue...Walking distance to some eateries...fairly close to Waikiki.

The AQUA Waikiki Wave was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a sitting area with a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that there was a sink with a long counter in the bathroom and the closet had adequate space for hanging clothes and there was still enough room for two suitcase to fit comfortably. The location was very good, it was just across the street from the bus stop and just a few blocks away from the beach. There were restaurants and shops up and down the street. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous, overall, our stay was very pleasant.

Friendy Staff and Great Location

The AQUA Waikiki Wave turned into a great choice for us. The price was very good, the service friendly and very capable, the rooms and the public areas clean and very modern. The added plus for us was the fact that we were with-in walking distance of the Waikiki Beach, shopping and good restaurants, and public transit and trolley shuttles. This hotel is in the middle of all the action and a very busy area night and day so there can be noise at night if you have the balcony door open. As for our room we were on a high floor with both the ocean and mountains within view. The AQUA Waikiki Wave is good hotel choice and a geat value.

The room at the AQUA Waikiki Wave was very clean, comfortable, quiet, and welcoming. The front desk was friendly, helpful and cheerful. The parking at the hotel was convenient. The concierge found a good Luau and kayak rental for us. It is in a great location for shopping, dining and entertainment.

The room was very comfortable and large. I really liked having a microwave, refridgerator and coffee maker. The safe in the room was also very easy to operate. We had a suite on an upper view with two lanais and partial views of the ocean and Diamond Head. The beach was a short walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

I have found that the Aqua Waikiki Wave is a wonderful place- it's located in the heart of Waikiki. It is surrounded by restaurants, boutiques, ABC stores and a few minutes away from the International Marketplace. It's a little noisy on the weekend mornings since the area has many bars and places to go dancing. I solved the parking problem- there is a elevated parking place you can park in the alley next to the hotel. In addition, you can park cheaply at the trade center which is next door. The rooms are very clean, and the staff helpful and courteous. The beach is only a few minutes away, and Duke's is across the street. If I were to visit Waikiki again, I would stay at the Aqua Waikiki Wave. It would be a great choice.

the AQUA WAVE WAIKIKI.....was excellent....traveled with twelve year old son and everytime we entered the hotel it was like coming home....very attentive staff ...housekeeping was excellent and the location was central to everything I plan on making this an annual trip.....I felt as though I made and informed decision and won the lottery......would highly recommend....
