Good Place for Money
I stayed in this hotel from June 6th to June 10th for 4 days. It was a nice stay. We were two people. The room is very much comfortable for two. The hotel is very close to famous Waikiki beach and Bus stop. The shopping center is very near. You find lot of ABC stores where one can buy all the groceries required. I have taken a superior room, it has got small refrigerator, Microwave and free internet browsing. The hotel lobby is very good. The contenental breakfast was Ok. They have given muffin, Doughnet, fruits and juices for the breakfast. The only problem is the car parking. They charge $15 per day. But i have taken car for only a day to visit Hanauma Bay and North shore other car is not neccessary in Honolulu. Bus facility in Honolulu is very good.

Fantastic Place to stay for the price
The Aqua Aloha Surf was a truely wonderful experience. Being only 5 Minutes from the Waikiki shore, we were able to enjoy the beach, but not at the beachfront hotel price. It was so clean and the staff was so helpful. They knew that we were tourstists and took their time in helping us with the bus/shuttle schedules and were always helpful in answering any questions we may have had. We plan on having a group trip in the next 2 years and have already contacted the Aqua Aloha Surf Hotel for our future stay.

Very comfortable & Relaxing
I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean and comfortable. Only a few blocks from the beach and shopping. My only reservation is with the 'continental breakfast' which consists of coffee, tea, juice, toast, bagels, danishes, muffins, and either orange or pineapple slices. I would have liked cereals at least.

Honeymoon Friendly
The Aloha Surf hotel staff was very accommodating when we told them it was our honeymoon by changing our room to one with a king bed and a view of the ocean. They provided complementary cocktails. They also allowed us to check out late at 1pm and had free luggage storage until our ride to the airport later at 630pm. They also provided guest bathrobes which was a nice touch. We were about 3 blocks from Waikiki beach, one block to a main bus stop and several nice restaurants. This is a nonsmoking hotel with a continental breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Very Adult Friendly
Hi As for children I would be concerned about space. For the room I had was just enough room for 2 people. I found the location excellent for the price. The only concern I had was walking that short block before the hotel (opposite the Canal). It was quite dark with very little lighting. The first couple of days I was uncomfortable walking that distance after dark. The food was good and fresh. But I missed the Bran Muffins. Overall I had a very enjoyable time and would stay there again.

Good Value for the price
The Aqua Aloha Surf is a good value for its price. The room was clean and the bed felt good after a long day of sightseeing. For those of you who only spent time in your room to sleep because you are out and about spending the extra cash you saved on your room, this hotel is the place for you. Two blocks from Waikiki beach and the International Market Place, my favorite places to go. The staff is friendly and I plan to stay there again on my next trip.

Great for the single traveler
This hotel is 2 blocks from the beach, and while you don't have a view of the ocean, it is such a short walk to the beach that it really doesn't matter. There are many, many places to eat and shop between the hotel and the beach. I also was attending a convention, and could easily walk to the Hawaii Convention Center in about 20 minutes along the Ala Wai canal. The room was the perfect for the single traveler, but it would definately not handle a full family. The amenities were good as well, nice tv, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The service was very friendly as well.
