I wanted to like it

I was staying in Atlanta for a convention and called ahead of time to tell them I would need to adjust my check in time if that was possible because I could not leave the convention once I was there to check in at the normal 3pm time. The person on the acted as though I was specking another language and was no help at all. My questions were, can I check in early and if not, what is the latest I could check in (i.e. before midnight). Instead of listening to my specific situation, they kept saying what was clearly the standard go to response for early check in questions. Then, to top it all off, they hung up on me mid sentence. I called back and it went to voice mail so I left one and never heard back. Once we got there, I paid for the parking pass, but they forgot to actually connect it to our room, so when we tried to leave the parking garage, our card didn't work.

Hotel amenties

Hotel did not provide a mini fridge to store left overs or drinks that we had purchased. Wifi was not free for your room only place to use wifi for free was in the lobby. Otherwise it was an upgrade charge to us in room. The Market store in the lobby was terrible. Limited snacks, drinks and was way over priced!

Always That One Thing

For a hotel, I generally do not expect to spend a great deal of time in a room so this review is largely about the rude staff person who awakened me and friend visiting me at the hotel at 5:13 AM the last night. That staffer claimed that I had a "roommate." I did not want her driving back after drinking so she stayed until the AM. It is suspected that one of the two partying hotel patrons to either side called the front desk to complain although they were the loud groups. Staffer used no discretion and disappeared before my friend could dress to leave. The whole point was ridiculous. The overall clientele seemed very ... ghetto.

Beautiful Hotel and Great Downtown location!

My sister and I were in town for a concert at the Centennial Olympic Park and the location was perfect! Walking distance to lots of places downtown, although not too much open on the weekends. 4 blocks from the Marta stop at Peachtree Station and walking distance to the concert venue. Very nice hotel with great amenities. Make sure to check out the rooftop bar for a spectacular view!

Nice Place $20 Parking

It was a short stay but location/price was good other than the $20 parking fee that I was unaware of until after parking.

Great Hotel

This hotel is in a great location and the staff is very helpful and sweet. The room was nice and also clean. I would stay again-the only issue I had was trying to leave on a Sunday morning. The hotel was so busy and all of the elevators were packed (in the hotel and the parking garage), so you might plan for extra time or check out really early before the crowd of others leaving at the same time. Overall I had a great stay!

I was sent out on the street with my 3 year old son at 1.00am

I arrived at the Hilton Atlanta at 1.00am with my 3 year old son after traveling from Los Angeles to Atlanta and when I tried to check in, the receptionist told me that they didn't have a room and that I should walk 1 1/2 blocks up the street to the Hyatt Hotel and that we would book a room there for me. When I told him that I had already paid for this room 3 months ago, that I'm pregnant, travelling with my 3 month old son and a large suitcase, bag, stroller, car seat, and 2 backpacks by myself and that I'm not walking anywhere in downtown Atlanta at 1.00am, we told me not to get upset. But clearly I was very upset and when I insisted on being given a room that I had already paid for, he called security and wanted me to get escorted out of the building. The worst hotel expreience of my life.

Best of The Best

It's the little things like the motion night lights tucked beneath the nightstand, the two-cup coffee maker, the pleasant smiles for the entire staff. These are just the top of the cake. The cleanliness, comfort, value and appearance of the hotel makes this one an A+ for us!
