Savannah

The front desk service lacks professionalism. When I checked there was a line and did not ask for assistance to help her with the line. In addition, did not look up to say she would be with us in a minute or to be patient for her. Then when I checked out a different person was so involved with the computer that I dropped off the forms. Then she says "Checking out sweetie" I replied just checked out! This hotel does not understand that the first and last person you meet in your establishment sets the tone for your stay.

Great Hotel

I visited Savannah in Ocober 2010. I decided to go back again this time in September 2011. I stayed at this hotel both times. The location is great, within walking distance to everything. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. All the amentities are a big plus. They have a full breakfast every morning with lots of food. Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday evenings they have a sundowner reception with food, beer and wine. The food ladies were the best. Always friendly and kind.Thank you ladies. The room was clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. I know this is a pet friendly hotel. The carpet in my room could have used a good cleaning. It was soiled and stained. Overall this is a great place to stay while in Savannah.

Truely a Pet Friendly Hotel

I was traveling as a single with my dog. This is truely a pet friendly. The staff is very welcoming with both the guests and their pets. The concierge goes out of his way to greet your pets and even has treats. The hotel was clean and in a great location. The staff was friendly and accomadating. The hot breakfast is also a plus. The only drawback was the logistics of unloading luggage and taking care of my dog at the same time was a challage without a bellman.

Friendly, convenient, high class.

Great location as to being downtown, with all the city's highlights within minutes of the hotel. Very friendly staff at the desk. Breakfast was more than just a continental, such as including fresh fruit.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

The Riverwalk is right across the street. City Market is a handful of blocks further away in a different direction; it's a smaller version of Fanueil Hall in Boston, or Pike's Market in Seattle, but still very colorful and fun to look through. Tons of restaurants to choose from, all very close.

Great place to stay!

The hotel is just a year old but what a lovely place to stay. The staff was wonderful, the food was outstanding and the room was very comfortable. The parking is valet only but it wasn't a problem for me and there wasn't a comfortable chair for reading but the bed worked! The people of Savannah were great.

A Great Hotel

First time visit to Savannah. Staybridge Suites was an excellent choice. Perfect location close to everything, the staff coudn't be more friendly and helpful. [...] thr concierge was fantastic and very knowledgeable about Savannah. She told me about a little known restaurant on Tybee Island that was fantastic. Definetly going back to Savannah, and will stay at Staybridge Suites again!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Fort Pulaski was an interesting Civil War fort near Tybee Island. Worth the short drive to get there.
