Staybridge Suites SAVANNAH HISTORIC DISTRICT

My experience at the hotel was very good. the staff was very polite and the hotel was very clean. The loctation was excellent being that it was near the riverfront and everything i wanted to do was easy to do from the hotels' location. However, there is a word of caution for anyone who prepay for their hotel stay at the Staybridge. I was almost double charged for my room. I prepaid for my room online; however. once I arrived for check in I was told that there was a $30.00 convience fee that had to be paid with a credit card. My daughter used her credit/debit card and she was not only charged the $30.00 but also the entire cost of the room that had already been prepaid. When I questioned this I was told that it was just policy & that the entire $182.00 would be placed on hold until we checked out & then only the $30.00 would be subtracted from my daughter's checking account. When I checked out a manager was at the desk and she charged the entire amount on my daughter's card. I informed her that the room had already been prepaid online & the $30.00 was the only amount that was supposed to be charged. The manager checked & she said that when I checked in the $30.00 was the only amount that should have been charged because on second look she did see that the room had been prepaid but this was only after I showed her my receipt that I printed from online. So word of advice when you prepay for your room always copy your receipt and take it with you because without my receipt I am positive that I would have paid for that room twice. The good thing is she did not charge me the $30.00 after the mistake was dicovered.

Stayed with my husband, and our children 4 and 2, it was very comfortable for us, great having a fridge in room for juice, milk, and snacks! It was so nice to have breakfast every morning in the lobby with 2 children hungry and ready to go early! Everyone person of the staff was wonderful! Shout out to ALL of the concierge gentlemen, they all helped me with wonderful suggestions for dinner/parks for my children while my husband had to work! As we were leaving my 4 year old said, "Mommy I like this place, I don't wanna go" Enough said for me!!

Not luxurious but great for the money with especially attentive staff from desk to breakfast preparers with plenty of hugs and "ata boys."Very friendly.

Convienint location. Very ample breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Helpful consierge. Cons: Road noise from Bay Street.

The hotel was perfect for our trip. We did rent a car so the guys could play golf in a couple of locations away from the city. The historical district was in walking distance and the riverwalk was right across the street. There were many great restaurants close by. Some of them were pricy. The desk clerks were fabulous; the breakfast was okay; the business center needs to be updated (one sluggish computer - could not print boarding passes); great concierge; poor housekeeping - had to ask for towels and for beds to be made. Loved the lobby-it was a great, friendly place to hang out with our friends. I would recommend this hotel, and I would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I go to Savannah.

This hotel was a a perfect location. It was walking distance to everything we went to. The room was clean and very spacious. It had a small walk in kitchen which was all we needed for our 3 night stay. Would stay again!

My mom and I stayed at Staybridge for 8 nights while on vacation in Savannah, GA. We loved the location as it was close to literally everything. So many places to go just by walking (River Street, shops, food places, theater, etc) but there was also a bus stop just down the alley from the hotel so you could get anywhere in the historical district within 10 minutes. The hotel had a great staff, wonderful free breakfast every morning, and Tuesday-Thursday they serve a light dinner with drinks! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely reccomend Staybridge.

Beautiful hotel! Price was right, staff very friendly and PERFECT location! The bed was heavenly and the room was the perfect size for my husband and I. We will definetly be returning!
