Residence Inn by Marriott Savannah Downtown/Historic District

Everyone on the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was large and clean. There were many breakfast choices. Appetizers, wine, and beer were served each afternoon between 5 and 6. The tour companies were headquartered near the hotel. We will stay here next time we're in Savannah and will recommend it to our family and friends.

Really nicely done on the inside, more spacious than other historic area hotels I've stayed in Savannah. Good central location, staff is super friendly.

We had a great time on New Years Eve in Savannah.And we had a very comfortable stay at the Residence Inn as well.

This is a relatively new property in Savannah. It is located next to the visitor's center and the railroad museum, but it's a long walk to Bay and River streets. The suite was spacious, but the decorator thinks people are shaped like cubes. The chairs and sofas were some of the most uncomfortable furnishings I have ever tried to sit on. Fortunately, the bed was very comfortable. The room was immaculately clean. The best thing about the place is the people that work there. Everyone, from the night mananger to the cleaning crew was friendly and helpful. Special mention should go to the ladies that handle the morning breakfast and the bartender.

My husband & I brought our 21 year old nephew to Savannah. He loved it. The staff were very friendly & extremely professional. Fantastic out door Swimming Pool and good breakfast. 20 minutes drive to Tybee Island. Nice place for family and couples...

Girls weekend in Savannah and this hotel was excellent!! They were professional, friendly and very accommodating. The hotel has a terrific breakfast and even had a gathering on few of nights we stayed were with free hors d'oeuvres and wine...it was excellent!! They were wonderful about finding us a movie theater and times as well as having assisting with taxi service. We would surely go back to this hotel on a return trip to Savannah!

The Residence Inn, Marriott, was just perfect for us. Our friends had an adjoining room on the 1st floor facing the courtyard/pool area. Hotel had complimentary breakfast buffet that we loved. The staff was so pleasant and cheery every day of our stay. It was in a convenient area of the city. The free city bus stopped right outside the door of the hotel, which made getting around the city enjoyable. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future. I can't think of one complaint!

The hotel was wonderful. The employees of the hotel were very perfessional and incredibly nice. It is located in the historic distric of Savannah and thus is within walking distance of everywhere you would wish to go. We parked when we got there and never moved our car until we left. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel even supplied a pack and play for my daughter to sleep in, free of charge. The only thing that I thought could of been improved was that the tub could use some non-slip strips as I almost bit it when i first stepped in. We definitly plan to stay here when we go back to Savannah.
