La Quinta Inn Savannah Midtown is located next to Hunter Army Air Force Base just minutes from Downtown Savannah's famous historic district. The hotel offers convenient access to surrounding shopping areas, golf courses, universities, Fort Stewart Army Base and even the coastal islands and beaches. Good for a night
The hotel was good, the location wasnt that good for tourism porpouses, clean place. I never got to use the wifi because my room was too far from the lobby. The beds were really confortable but there was this smell in the bed like "old" I dont know if it was the furniture or the mattress. The A/C wasnt working well. It was too hot inside of the room. It was good for a night.

Couldn't be better
The staff was very happy and cheerful, and made the stay very good. The room and bathroom were really clean, and the sheets and towels were very soft. The bed was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast is great (awesome waffles). La Quinta never disappoints.

Lackluster
We didn't have super high expectations for this hotel, but we were still disappointed. Lots of noise at night--children and adults were outside and very loud. The free breakfast was a joke. It is supposed to last until 9:30, but by 8:45 every morning, they were out of everything, including coffee and no attempt was made to replenish the food or beverages.

Decent and comfortable stay
The hotel was good for the location and price. It was about 15 minutes from downtown Savannah and the historic district. The room was comfortable and cozy, but although it was a non-smoking room, I felt as though there were remnants of smoke in the atmosphere. But all in all I had no major complaints. Breakfast was complimentary, so that was a plus, but we ended up exploring the food options downtown. All in all, nice place to rest your head after a long day of exploring.

Very Happy - Very Clean
I was very happy with this hotel. The room was very clean, well priced, and if you are looking somewhere to stay that is not as expensive as the hotels in the historic district, this is absolutely worth it. It was only a 10-15 minute drive to the historic district - not bad at all.

Great stop on our way home from Florida
