Make reservations ahead of time. Don't wait until the day of......we couldn't get a reservation anywhere before 9 pm!

Thanksgiving family vacation
David took our car and we knew we had made the right decision to stay at the Hyatt. All the staff, including bar tender and dining staff treated us well; Shirley is a Georgia Peach! The room was always clean and we did not have to request anything. Thank you for making this a very happy Thanksgiving.

The hotel was very clean and the location was great. But we reserved two rooms with king beds and received rooms with double beds. They said they did not have any more king beds. Not sure what good my reservation was! We arrived around 11 and were able to get our room early.

Hmmmm
Would have liked a fridge, microwave and safe in the room, and heat through the A/C unit instead of small heater. No heat in bathroom. No newspaper. Charges for internet and parking. Other nearby chain hotels seemed to offer better amenities. The 2 packets of "low end" powdered coffee creamer were inadequate and unsatisfactory for 4 servings of in-room coffee (3 decaf, only 1 regular!!). The Perks coffee shop was not open when we returned from a walk around town. There was no milk available in the cold case in the gift shop.

Hyatt Regency Savannah
A great location. I was not used to staying at a four star hotel in a city, so valet parking at $20, no complimentary breakfast and charges for wi-fi service and the use of computer in the business center were extra cost and new to me. I guess one would expect that at a four star hotel in a city. But the extra cost was well worth it since it was located on River View street, provided a great view of the river and the stores and restaurants were just a door away from the hotel.

Valet
The valet guys are a little greedy. There is a $20 parking fee however we parked on the street overnight. Street parking is FREE on weekends. Rooms were nice. Location is great!

Very Attentive!!
Very comfortable, beautiful view and extremely NICE wait staff!!!! We certainly created problems for them, but they SOLVED them ALL. Harmonic noise from AC pipes, but they gave us complementary buffet breakfasts. GREAT concierge!!!! Thanks L&N
