Excellent Deal for the area
I searched for hours for the best deal online. This was the closest to downtown for a fair price. They had a delicious breakfast every AM including meat. Mon-Thurs they have free dinner as well including all you can drink wine and beer! The dinners were ok-pretty good. When I walked into my room for the 1st time there was an animal cracker by the bed so it made me wonder if everything else was thoroughly cleaned. Bed was very comfortable for being a hotel and the couch was pretty hard. Otherwise the room was great and the staff was super friendly especially in the kitchen and they even would call us by name every day. This place is about 15 min from downtown and about 30 min to Tybee island (Atlantic Ocean beach). We did a tour bus, saw Savannah Wildlife refuge, Ships of the maritime museum, shopping downtown... It was a very fun getaway! Compared to other hotels I have stayed in, this one tops the list.

Good Bargain
Breakfast each morning was very good and offered a full meal. Doors on room are not at all insulated so noise from hall is disturbing late at night especially if anyone is sleeping on pull out sleeper sofa. A good distance from the historic district and downtown.

Savannah Getaway
The hotel was very clean and the desk staff was absolutely top drawer. The only reason I did not give them five stars was that our room was on the edge of the property adjacent to a busy road, the noise was a bit much overnight. Not something they can really control but if you go there make sure you are not on the end units by the road.

The Local 11-10 restaurant is about a 3 mile straight shot from the hotel. Fabulous food and ambiance. A little on the pricey side but well worth a celebration night with your partner. Try the mussel appetizer.

there are many great places to eat or take back to your room that are less than 5 min away. You can get groceries at the store in the same area.

Savannah expedition
There was no warning that the entire roof of the section where we were staying was under repair. Parking was cramped. Room was clean, although the mattress was not up to the modern standards of a pillow top mattress on a hotel room at this price point. Also, cheap foam rubber, thick uncomfortable pillows. Room was spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and a lot of variety. Overpriced for conditions. I believe I could have made a better deal with these people at the front desk than your rate. Overall, as a veteran business traveler, I would rate this stay as very average, but overpriced for the facility.

good for what we needed
Pleasent room, great coffee. Did not use any other amenities so I cannot comment on much. We had a nice stay. p.s. turn AC to Fan at night; the AC is noisy when turning on-this solves that problem.
