Amazing staff and service

I wish I could give the staff more than 5 stars. They bent over backwards to accommodate me and my young daughter. They were happy to see is everyday, even housekeeping knew our names and double checked if I needed anything extra from them while traveling with a toddler. We will stay with them on our next trip to Savannah.

had some issues

The first room we had was musty so they moved us to another room. That turned out to be extremely noisy at night - the hotel generator or something was turning on and off all night. So the next night, they found us another room that was quiet. The staff was very helpful and they issued a credit for the first night's stay because of all the issues. Breakfast was about what you would expect. We didn't use the pool & fitness room but they looked good.

Overbooked Nightmare

We booked a room with two queen beds and a pull out sofa-all of which we needed-but we were given our room key without a word uttered that the room we were expecting to see had been overbooked! For the next twenty minutes we had to wait on the staff to see about us because they were handling other customers in our exact predicament. And to finish up the hour, we juggled our options with the general manager who told us we would have to get in touch with you guys in order to get another room for free since we booked through a third party. She also offered a pull out sofa that she "thought" they had to fit in our already tight room. We kindly but firmly pressed the issue with her that this was not only ridiculous but extremely unprofessional and so bad for their business. But I think it is also bad for y'alls business. I have absolutely NO trust in you guys anymore or hotels! I was paying approx. $240 for one night and told I could pay a "low rate" for another room. Customers should be able to count on you guys and hotels that they will keep their rooms! To be overbooked is INSANE!!!!!! They pulled through for us, though, and allowed us to have another room for free without having to call y'all. Thank you for taking our story into consideration,
