business friendly hotel

The Four Points Sheraton was convenient to most attractions. Off the beaten path alittle but close enough to walk to most places. I was disappointed that the room did not have a small refrigerator nor a micro-wave but the bed and the linens were very nice and comfortable. Also, the hotel did not have a hair dryer in the room. This hotel reminded me of a busines friendly hotel - simple and streamlined. The staff were all friendly and receptive. For the money I would stay there again.

Extremely nice staff & excellent hotel.

The Four Points by Sheraton was extremely nice. It was a new hotel. Very clean and inviting. We were there for a Bachelorette Party and the staff was extremely nice & accomadating. We booked 3 rooms and they were all great. The staff did excellent about getting the rooms together. I did a great deal of communicating with them before the check-in date and they were always friendly and professional. I would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to friends.

Very Friendly Staff

I was very impressed with the friendlinessand cleanliness with the hotel. Everything was so well kept up and we were always greeted with hellos and do you need anything just let them know. It was close to the River Front and was easy to find anything within walking distance. I also liked the fact that it was not a huge hotel and we didn't run into huge crowds of people. We did run into a little problem with being next door to someone with small children and the noise got a little loud at times but the staff assured us if we needed to be moved, they would have no problem getting us a different room. I definitely would stay there again on our next trip to Savannah but woould pick a better time of the year since it was so hot and humid. Another good factor was that the air conditioning worked great which you definitely needed.

Very friendly staff

We had a great experience at this Sheraton hotel. The staff was very helpful. The parking was 15.00 a night, but worth it for the peace of mind. Loved the down pillows and fluffy towels, as well as , the flat screen tv. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Close to City Market

This was our first trip to Savannah and we were not sure where the hotel would be located. We were pleased to find it's location close to River Street and within walking distance (2 blocks) to City market and Paula Deen's restaurant. Room was clean and fairly new. $15.00/day parking was a bit steep but there was street parking nearby. Easy access to interstate and hop skip and a jump into S. Carolina over the bridge. Large bathroom in room and beds very comfortable.

Friendly front desk staff but..

While the hotel is brand new and the pool area and business centre areas are nice, we found someone's old pair of socks behind the chair in our room and the room service trays of everyone on our floor were left outside all night and well into the next day. Not nice to walk past. The hotel itself is right at the edge of the main town and historic area but backs onto the local projects. So while well located, not the prettiest of locations. Despite being let down by the cleaning issues, the front desk staff were the friendliest i've come across in years. They were genuinely friendly and super helpful when it came to planning trips and getting information about the area.

My review of Four Points by Sheraton Historic Savannah

The Four Points by Sheraton is conveniently located in downtown Savannah. It is just a short walk to most entertainment and sites. The facility has all of the standard amenities. But the best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff.

Good Value and Close to Historic Savannah

The Four Points by Sheraton Historic Savannah was comfortable. The room, with two double beds, was a little cramped. The valet parking staff was exceptionally helpful. Numerous dining options are within ten minutes walking distance of the hotel.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Numerous dining options are a short walk away. Local traditions prevail, as many restaurants close between 2-5pm. Lots of dining options are a short walk from the hotel. Be sure to ask for a local favorite drink, half sweet tea and half lemonade.

Great Location

This was a great location for me, it was in walking distance of the Lady and Sons and of River Street and other restaurants and bars. My eexperience was great. The one things I would say was not satisfactory was, there was no continental breakfast but everything else was great!

This hotel is located in ...

This hotel is located in a not particularly attractive area of Savannah, but is conveniently located for some of the tourist attractions. The staff is very friendly and do try to be accomodating. The room is simply the same as a standard one, with a jacuzzi in the bathroom that actually takes away from the available space because the closet is a piece of furniture rather than a built-in, (and a very awkward closet, at that). The jacuzzi was in poor condition and the sink was chipped and cracked. The buffet breakfast did not exixt while we were there and the breakfast we ordered arrived cold, with an uncut, untoasted English muffin and luke warm coffee. I believe that far better accomodations can be found in a more upscale area of Savannah for a similar cost.
