I loved that this hotel was a block away from the riverwalk. Breakfast had everything we could possibly want. The room was very comfortable. Never had to move the car until check out since we were so close to everything. I will stay here the next time I come back to Savannah.

Beds were very comfortable. Didn't realize there would be an extra charge for parking though.

Beautiful Location!
Very nice hotel, but several of the staff (two valets and a maid) were definitely less than pleasant, and a few other maids certainly did not go out of their way to be hospiable. On the other hand, the three ladies we dealt with at the front desk were very pleasant and accomodating, and a porter was vey nice.

Savannah GA
We picked this hotel last minute as we escaped on vacation early as Nemo moved in onNew England. Location perfect. Room filled with beautiful sun in the morning. There was only one chair to sit, and it would have been a stretch to get a second into our king bedroom. The gym was perfect for my needs. As we departed the next morning the hallway was piled with dirty bedding and dishes. This was not the quality I excepted from this hotel chain. The car security and service was excellent. It was certainly better than shoveling snow!

Great Savannah Location
This hotel is located on the main drag of Savannah at the lowest cost for this class. The room was large and comfortable. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are privately located on the second floor. Parking is provided for $15 a day. All the main city sights are within walking distance (<1 mi.). We were just passing through and didn't know about St. Paddy's Day festivities, so we were surprised when the hotel required us to sign a room damage statement. That was almost a deal breaker for us.

Steps from River Street
We have stayed at many hotels in the historic district of Savannah. Doubletree has the perfect location. Steps away from River Street, dining, entertainment, shopping, everything you could want. They offer you warm cookies at check-in. The beds were comfortable and the view was amazing. We were on the sixth floor and you could see the bridge and river. The hotel offers extra amenities, if needed, such as toothbrush and toothpaste. The not so good parts, our shower curtain needed a good cleaning. There were some very gross items on the shower curtain. The shower had hardly any water pressure. Halfway through the water turned into nothing but a dribble. The t.v. worked, barely. We had to turn it on and off a few times to get it to work.

Great location in Savanah
We had a great time until the bachel's party down hall kept waking us up all night. The hotel did compensate us for the sleepless night, so that was nice.
