Days Inn and Suites Savannah Midtown

I came in a day early for my reservation and asked if I could check in early, they told me no problem but then charged me almost $100 for the night, double what I paid for the future nights there, The room was not clean, no tissue, faucet dripped and the bed felt like a board with a 1 inch pad, I had such a horrible nights sleep, that I had to go and cancel the next four nights, because there was no way I could sleep another night in that room. The manager was very nice about cancelling my reservation and telling me there would be not charge and gave me a receipt of this. He told me that orbitzs would have to refund me since my card had already been charged. So my next hurdle is to make sure that Orbitzs refunds my card, since I had to go find another hotel to stay at that was much more expensive. Orbitzs should take this hotel off its site. Sad for the Manager, but not a good place to stay.

Went to this hotel due to being a brand name, but did not live up to it's name. Not what I expected. Enter rooms from outside not through the lobby, remote to TV did not work. When I called the front desk they were rude. She asked if I was away from the TV or up near it. I asked what was the point of having a remote if I have to be near the TV. They sent someone to fix it, but still could not turn TV off & on with the remote. Very dissapointed for being a brand name hotel. Next time I would stay somewhere cheaper and have the same experience.

The hotel has a roach problem; which we found on our toothbrushes. The room is not detail cleaned; the bathtub was dirty as was the padding under the sheets.

* rooms were clean * breakfast was good * difficult to control air/fan * coffee was terrible * very disappointed that we could not print our boarding passes there & they told us they would not do it. Drove to several places before we found somewhere that could help us. * shower was very inconvenient

I made this trip to go to my child's graduation. I needed a decent hotel for a reasonable price and that is what I got. The first night I did not check in until after midnight and had no problem doing so. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. The bathroom could have used a little help like minor fixes to some fixtures. Minor issues: the TV remote was held together with tape, & the light over the bathroom sink was way too dim. Positives: clean and the maid did clean up between the 2 nights I was there.

The room was very clean, the place was quiet, and the management and staff were very attentive and helpful.

Popped in for a couple days for SCAD Graduation. Hotel was located conveniently to downtown Savannah and ceremonies and easy to leave town to come home.

Hotel was conveniently located for our purposes. We were very disappointed to have arrived at the hotel only to find that there was not a handicap accessible room reserved as per our request through Orbitz! And, our room was on the second floor instead of the first floor, which made for a very difficult situation! No offers were forthcoming for accommodations on the first floor. We were told that handicapped accommodations were on a first come first serve basis! The room had a strong odor of cigarette smoke...obviously, not a non-smoking room as per our request!

When I drive up to the Hotel I was very disappointed. This Hotel was not that good and was about the same price as the nice hotels. I did not stay in the Hotel. I tried call and cancel but there staff does not answer the phone. I tried to get a return but they would not give me a return. I stay at the Hilton which was a lovely hotel, with a great staff.

The Comfort Inn in Midtown Savannah was a good value for the money. The rooms have plenty of space and the kitchenette is very handy with its microwave, sink and refridgerator. I travelled with my wife and 6 month old son and everything was very good for the 10 day stay we had. The only thing I would ask for is some fresh fruit fo the breakfast buffet which is great already but could use some fresh items.
