Days Inn Savannah Airport

Room was quiet and bed was good. Breakfast was good.

quiet and clean. 6 pillows and a comfortable bed. But this motel reminds me of the Bates Motel. It was built across the street from the main terminal...years ago. Now the new terminal is on the other side of the airport and the motel gets much less business. I'm glad "mother" didn't visit.

The hotel is old and run-down. Not as clean as I would have liked.

The room was not very well kept. I would not stay ther again.

I was very disappointed in this hotel, although the staff were very friendly, the cleanliness of this hotel was very unnacceptable. After having to change rooms because the first was too small, I was still disappointed. There was places on the wall that were boarded up and upon opening a cabinet, I found roach carcasses, UGH!! If my family and I had not been to exhausted from being on the road all day long, I would have definately gone on to search for another hotel. The hotel rooms were very outdated and very unclean. I would not recommend this facility to no one.

Arrived at 2 PM and had to wait an hour outside until room was ready. Watched others arrive and given rooms. Housekeeping staff was not in sight. At 3 PM, was given a smoking room because nothing else was available. Room was intolerable so we called desk, and another clerk immediately found a nonsmoking room for us. Location was in an industrial area near an airbase, very busy and noisy. Motel was hard to find because the Days Inn sign had not yet been put up. Breakfast was not ready until after 7 AM so we left, not even getting a cup of coffee.

The hotel staff was very friendly upon arrival. Exactly what I expected, some good southern hospitality. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a very average hotel, and a little too grimy for my tastes. We actually stayed two nights because it was close (sort of)to the arport, and we did not have time to look for another. The second night was better than the first, but still, it was just kind of grubby. The room did not smell, but my socks were filthy when I walked around in them, and there was thick dust under the bed when I bent to look for something I dropped. I had my own pillow and sleeping bag, so I just pulled the coverlet off the bed, and was fine. However, I would suggest you look elsewhere. The staff however couldn't have been more polite and helpful, so the problem lies probably with the management.

It was not clean and was not in a good location, nor was the property maintained as it should have been.

The Savanna Airport Days Inn is an old notel whose best days are behind it.
