Comfort Inn & Suites Savannah Airport

Hotel was great and staff was helpful very close to airport

Stayed at the Comfort Inn on business for a few nights, and the folks at the front desk were great -- very polite and friendly. The breakfast was nothing special -- except for the fresh waffle bar. That's good stuff. Just a little thing - there were no normal size pillows in the room. I had about seven "square" pillows for the bed that could be used as accent pillows on a sofa. But, I stacked three together and it was fine.

nice and quiet stay, too quiet so you can hear people walked on the room above you and people walked and slammed doors on the room across you. nice and cool a/c , slow internet, very few tv channels.

Just wasn't very clean. Smelly pillows. and stained linen.

The Four Points in Historic Savannah is nicer than the one by the Airport.

We booked this hotel on two different occasions. Both times we asked for two double beds, and both times they had us in the system for a king. The first time they were able to get us a double bed room. The second time, we arrived around 11 PM, and they had no double rooms left. They send us to another hotel. If you book this place, don't plan on a late arrival! Also, the A/C didn't work well at night. They had it automatically set to increase the temp. at night. It got really hot!

The location, next to the airport was very convenient. The dead bolt securit lock on our door was broken. The maid didn't clean our room two of the days.

I was astonished to find that the room offered apparently had not been cleaned; the sheets were obviously used on both beds; the toilet not flushed; the tub dirty as well as the liner of the shower curtin; the carpet filthy, the phone obviously never cleaned and even the display flyers offering services were cruddy; the curtins were hanging off the rods. It should be an embarassment to Starwood, let alone the franchise. By the way, this is not a new hotel; it's been open for more than 1 year possibly longer...an obvious deception on the internet.

Everything was nice, the staff was very helpful, the only problem I had was the housekeeping staff did not clean our room the first night, but the management was more then happy to give me a partial refund for the problem.
