Cozy rooms and modest amenities next to Hunter Army Air Field
Best Western Central Inn located on the south side of Savannah satisfies families and business travelers with amenities and a central location. The hotel sits in a modern, suburban area populated by shopping centers and restaurants a few miles outside Savannah's historic district, directly adjacent to the Hunter Army Airfield. Drive five to ten minutes up Abercorn Street to reach the historic district. Old Town Trolley Tours also offers shuttle service to the downtown ticket office at the Visitors Center.

was a little worried about Air Traffic
Because of it's proximity to Hunter Army Airfield I had concerns about it sounding like the jets were in the room with us. During the 2 nights we were never disturbed by the air traffic and our stay very enjoyable. The value compared to the historic district was very good. and the continental breakfast with make your own waffle was a huge hit with the kids Our only complaint was that the cleaning people were using some type of air freshener that gave my wife a sinus headache.

Comfy Place To Stay
The front desk personal were very nice and made me feel at home,and welcome.(plus I got lost)They talked me all the way to the hotel. The area was very well lite up at night, I was visiting my son in Ga.I felt safe. I would recommand any business woman or any family to this hotel. The Location was perfect,the historic Savannah, the other end of the town Modern Mall. I have no completes about The Best Western to be honest,my stay was a very comfy and save stay.The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, bathroom was very clean as well as the floors.Other then that,I you need a safer way to turn into the hotel. I will be back. I rate it well.

Very nice room
Very pretty room. Loved the color of one of the accent walls where the bed was. It matched the beautiful bedspread that really made the room . Very clean, quiet...check-in and out was fast. Great location! Next time I visit Savannah I will stay here and I visit alot. Thats Best Western.

Short drive from hotel
You can drive anywhere near this location and have a great meal. I notice a really nice steak house, 'Toni's Steak House' I think the name was, right across the street...that you could walk to but we did not happen to go there this time. Waffle House is almost on the premises...so we walked there. Very centralized location and you can get anywhere in the city because it is located on a main road in Savannah..turn right takes you all the way downtown, beach, etc...or turn left and you have a bountiful of dining and shopping. And the price for the room was very reasonable considering the location.

Unbeatable price for the location!!
The location is wonderful. You're right next door to dining, a short walk to a timesaver, and a short drive to grocery stores and the mall. The rooms were great! Not only was the whole room spotless, but it had a microwave and fridge for convience. It was a wonderful and quiet stay.

fantastic family getaway
hotel took a long time to find but it was so comfortable, i actually tried to find the name on the mattress/boxspring..close to lots of eateries and gas stations, etc. desk managers were very nice and helpful, etc. would definitely stay here again even tho it is far from downtown, well worth it!!!!

Fantastic! :)
I went to Savannah to see my friends who are in the Air Force Rangers. The Hotel was really close to the base not to mention a lot of other places, like the mall. The staff was really polite and helpful. One even gave me their lighter because I lost mine. I was in a smoking room and usually they aren't kept up as well as the others, but here they were very clean and didn't smell bad at all. All and all, this was one of the best hotels I stayed at.

Daddy of twin babies!
Good Hotel for the Price!
It was suprisingly well maintained. The AC was not on when we got to the room, and it took all night for it to cool down! The carpet in the room was sticky and kind of damp. Other than that it was very nice, quiet. They were remodeling rooms but it didn't get in my way at all! I recommend for anyone looking for cheap and nice.
