Cozy rooms and modest amenities next to Hunter Army Air Field
Best Western Central Inn located on the south side of Savannah satisfies families and business travelers with amenities and a central location. The hotel sits in a modern, suburban area populated by shopping centers and restaurants a few miles outside Savannah's historic district, directly adjacent to the Hunter Army Airfield. Drive five to ten minutes up Abercorn Street to reach the historic district. Old Town Trolley Tours also offers shuttle service to the downtown ticket office at the Visitors Center.

The price of the room very fairly reflected what I received. It was also in a good location in Savannah, not far from I-95.

Served our purpose
The hotel was very clean and a reasonable distance from the historic district. There was a continental breakfast and a little diner close by. The room was outdated, but the cleaning staff did an excellent job. All in all it served our needs and I would probably stay there again.

When in Savannah, I would recommend eating at Paula Deens restaurant, "Lady and sons", but make sure you have a reservation. Lunch is easier to get than dinner. I would also recommend Blue Moon Restaurant, which is alo a brewery. The food is good and reasonable. The beer is excellent.

Great location for what I needed
Hotel is within about 10 min. drive to downtown. The rooms are old with heat/cool unit under the window. The mattresses were comfortable, the bedding clean/newer. Free WI-fi and the complimentary breakfast was better than I expected. I would use this again for a quick one-two day stay.

Very Pleasant Experience
The hotel was better than anticipated. The location were great and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and no surprises. Only problem the furnished coffee maker was ' a challenge' . The Old Savannah Tour bus picks you up right at the lobby. Across the street is a convenience store and next door is a Waffle House. Would stay again and refer others.

Close to Savannah Downtown
It was only a 10 min. ride to downtown Savannah. Close without paying the expensive hotel rates. The room was very comfortable and the linens were white. The hotel was located in a quiet area and shopping was very convenient.

Halfway between Winston-Salem, NC and Boca Raton, FL
The Best Western hotel was affordable, clean, and comfortable for an overnight stay. My wife stayed there for both legs of our trip. As the rooms are accessible from the parking lot, the first night we stayed, we were subjected to someone honking their horn after 11:00 p.m. as we were trying to sleep. Our second stay was on a Thursday night when propeller planes were flying into the nearby military airport. I found that kind of enjoyable!

Clean, comfortable accomodations. Very good continental breakfast included. Convenient location; just a few minutes to the historical area. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful.
