Nice but overpriced due to lack of service.
The facility's front door was being repaired during our stay. As a result, an alternative door was used. This door was about a half block from the front entrance where they brought our car. There was no help available (1PM Sunday) to move our luggage from our room and into our auto which was now more difficult due to the door location.

Perfect location
Our stay here was lovely. The staff is so attentive, it's almost overdoing it, but it seems genuine. They stock the mini bar daily with free non-alcoholic beverages and snacks which we thought was a great perk. The location is very central to everything you'd want to get to. Our room was right across from the elevator, which I thought would be noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised as it was mostly very quiet. The hotel is close to City Market, which is pretty packed with bars open until 3am, and of course drunk people on the weekends. It wasn't a problem for us, but maybe for others. Overall a great experience!

Andaz was a great hotel experience. The staff were always super friendly and helpful. We were greeted with complimentary wine and offered a room upgrade. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. By far, one of the best hotels I have stayed in, they definitely know what customer service means!

Pleasant Surprise
The check-in was very easy and unstructured -no front desk, but cheerful staff with iPads waiting to greet you. Always a beverage and nibble in the lobby -gratis. Energetic valets. Loved our suite - complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks replenished every day. Great location.

Great time
My wife and I had a great time at the Andaz Hyatt in Savannah. The staff was very friendly and helpful our entire stay. The room was immaculate and we were able to enjoy Ellis Square from our balcony. The city was amazing and our stay at the Andaz made it that much better.

Wonderful Getaway
We were very impressed with the whole Andaz experience. Each member of the staff we encountered was gracious and professional. The accommodations were wonderful - our room was stylish, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. And the Andaz's historic district location is ideal - within walking distance of great restaurants, funky little shops and many of the public squares that make Savannah so beautiful.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Be sure to walk around and explore Savannah's historic district (no tour needed). Take in any number of the city's many squares - each is a little oasis. And everyone is very friendly. Don't be afraid to ask a native where the best places to eat are - they're suggestions were never wrong!
