Anniversary Spot

Great location, clean, and friendly staff! I gave 4 stars because I believe that the breakfast buffet should be included with the hotel stay, or at least be reduced to a cheaper price. The food was good, but not certain that I'd be willing to pay $23 for continental breakfast again!

Great hotel, great location, great staff!

From the moment we walked into the Andaz, we knew it would be a great stay. We were warmly greeted, check-in was swift and the hostess, Joy, offered suggestions for restaurants and tours that were on point. We were even given a welcome cocktail! Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay, including a very comfortable king-size bed (one of the most comfortable mattresses we've encountered at any hotel), a nice-size bathroom and shower, free refreshments, and a fridge that offered a spot for us to chill our wine for our evening strolls. And if we forgot something, and we did, we simply called the front desk and it was immediately delivered. This is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Savannah's historic district -- just steps from restaurants, bars and tours, which we enjoyed daily. This was our first trip to Savannah, but not our last. And we will be returning to Andaz!

Historic Visit

The hotel was very nice, quiet, staff was extremely helpful and eager to please. Room was very nice, comfortable bed, room amenities excellent. chose an option when booking that included breakfast buffet for extra $20 - that was an excellent value for two very good breakfasts. Very good location - close to the river walk area and historical city, but on a quite corner just off the beaten path.

Luxury at a reasonable price

Every person who works here is kind and attentive. The beds were extremely comfortable--I looked forward to getting in each night. The location is close to everything a tourist probably wants to see. It can get a little loud at night out by Ellis Square (the adjacent square). Overall, I would highly recommend this place and will be returning.

Perfect Hotel!

It doesn't get any better than the Andaz! We decided to go to Savannah, GA for my best friend's 40th birthday. Arrival: Immediately greeted by a kind, caring and pleasant staff with a smile and wine! The Guest Services Representatives and Managers used iPad's to check-in multiple guests at a time and it made things move so smoothly! Personally, I felt at home because there was not a bulky counter in between me and the GSR. Room: The decor is beautiful and modern. Bathrooms are amazing with contemporary showers and antique bathtubs. Beds and linens are SUPER comfy! Views from the rooms overlook City Market/River Street and are outstanding!! Best yet, they provide FREE drinks (with the exception of liquor) and snacks DAILY, along with the bathroom amentities are fantastic! Shampoo, conditioner and lotion absolutely make you feel clean and refreshed. Great scent as well. Service: Hospitality staff was EXTREMELY aware of all guests by greeting promptly, opening doors for each and every guest entering/leaving the establishment, Housekeeping was very much cognizant of our needs daily, chefs were so kind to cook our omelets to our tastings, it was so CLEAN and requires a remarkable team to consistently pull this off day in and day out. Location: Phenomenal!!!! Could not ask for a better location. A block from River Street and two blocks from Starbucks!! Value: You pay for what you get, so if you want exceptional service, clean relaxing rooms, and an unbelievable location, then you pay a great price for a perfect hotel. I have already planned our next visit at this hotel for next year. I cannot thank the staff enough for a remarkable birthday celebration!

Best hotel experience to date

This was my wedding weekend. My husband and I both enjoyed this stay and he's very picky. We literally walked in and were automatically greeted by a friendly staff. You're offered complimentary wine at check-in. We were also offered a room upgrade which was $20 (a night, mind you). We weren't aware that wasn't per night but didn't matter because the room we upgraded to had a living room area and balcony that was so nice. Long story short, if you're looking for a upscale hotel that's within walking distance from everything (Paula Deen restaurant was one block away) then this is the hotel for you. We both agreed this will be a hotel we use again when we revisit savannah!
