Americas Best Value Inn

I was very skeptical upon arrival for a few reasons. One was the "ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON!" sign by the front door. The second was the manager's business cards on the counter which don't even display his last name. The third was that there wasn't anyone at the front desk but then-woops there she is sitting down off to the side, her head about a foot lower than the top of the counter. She was quick and friendly at check-in. The room was okay, a bit on the small side, two things that were missing were a trash can in the bathroom and hand towels. The furniture was a bit crowded the full-length mirror was actoally behind the tv cabinet (rendering it completely useless) and the desk was set awkwardly so that you couldn't pull the chair up to it. Overall the room was pretty well taken care of and clean-although there was only a bedspread and topsheet...gross. Unfortunately there is a dance club DIRECTLY behind my room that is open until 3am so I didn't sleep well, calling the front desk didn't even get me an apology. Also the toilet was running all night. I got a call at 10am reminding me of the 11am checkout time, jumping the gun a bit I'd say! Felt a bit like I was being shoved out the door! Overall it's not a bad motel for the price.

Bed poorly made, all sheets come untucked when you pull back the covers. Pillows completely. uncovered by spread. No towels nor tissues in rm. when we checked in. We were 1 hr. early. 2 night stay room was not vacuumed, nor bed made in our 6 hr. absence. At 6 pm manager wanted to send cleaners into the rm. Morning coffee quickly ran out.

For a weekend Trip it is a nice place to stay. Because you are very near to the downtown of Savannah

This place was good for the price. The only bad thing about it was that there wasn't a whole lot close to the location. Most stores and resturants where around 3 miles away. The room to us was very comfortable for an economy room.

We only stayed over the weekeend in savannah to have some fun and go out. For the reason the hotel is fine.

The hotel was close to downtown and Tybee Island, but it stunk like urine an dbleach and the carpet was wet. The bathroom was not safe to take a shower in. Wear flip flops. Since cops were always in the parking lot, I will assume that we were not in a safe place.

I booked for price only... the location was not bad, just rando for what we wanted. Being out so far actually discouraged us from visiting the beach on our second day. There were only half used rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom, an open bottle of shampoo/conditioner, and an open bar soap. There were no box of tissues and no garbage can in the bathroom. I don't regret saving money, but if I could have cancelled (I booked the same night I checked in), I would have gone to a more expensive (and normal) hotel. Plus, they charged me for the room twice, so that didn't help my spirit while trying to enjoy my stay.
