Good business trip

Entrance and main lobby look great because it was a historical building. I thought the rooms and carpeting on the floors really needed updating. Location is ok, not much around the area. It is convenient to down town Atlanta though. I found the location to be a little noisy. I stayed on the 12th floor and could hear people talking below like it was outside my window.

Location is all you get

Georgian Terrace is across the street from the Fox Theater and near quite a number of restaurants. That's good because the hotel restaurant and bar are extremely unremarkable and there are no activities or entertainment in the hotel.

Don't stay here

I have to be honest, it was like staying in a gross apartment. The bed coverings were ripped, cigarette burns ALL over the sink, ripped/ falling down wallpaper, veneer on bath cabinets was peeling, carpet was unraveling at the seams, whole floor smelled like smoke, all the furniture looked like it was picked up at a thrift store, cable was very fuzzy, rooms were TINY, you can't call ahead to get your car out of valet...I could go on and on and on. Don't let the lobby pics or rooftop pics fool you. It was literally terrible! I would NEVER stay here again or recommend. In fact, I am thinking about asking for my money back. It was that bad!

Week-end stay

The room was rather small. The hotel was very busy and the elevators were extremely slow. There was no hair conditioner in the bathroom. Sunday night I was leaving for my dinner, and entered the hallway and there was a very strong marijuana smell. After our event a group of us wanted to have a cocktail and spend some time with each other. We entered the Livingston Bar at 10:25, the bartender said he was closing soon. (The signs around the hotel said the bar closed at 11:00 pm) We were able to get one cocktail each. At 10:40 pm, we decided to get another round of cocktails, the bartender was not really happy to accommodate us, and we wanted to get a couple of drinks for other friends that were coming to meet us, the bartender said he didn't have time. We did get the drinks after his comments. After 11:00 pm another staff member came out on the terrace where we were sitting to pick up glasses. We mentioned to him about the bartender wanting to close early and he said he did not say he was closing early. It is too bad when people want to spend money and the staff is worried about closing to go home.

Good location

Experience was fine until checkout. I left my keys with valet and went up with a bellman to get our luggage. When we arrived home we discovered a tote bag with my wifes shoes and a bag with all my prescription medications had been taken from our car

Great intown getaway

Great for a night on the town in Atlanta. Everything was great. There are great rooftop views form the pool, just wish it was a little more inviting (but at least it has a pool for such a great intown location for a historic hotel).

Great stay

Close to everything I needed. First night I stayed in single room. It was European style, small but very nice. The next two nights in a double room which was a suite. Two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, it was fabulous. The parking valets were also very fast and courteous. I would definitely return.

business trip to Hotlanta

stayed 2 nights, hotel itself was nicely remodeled, some patina from previous renovations still visible, very friendly staff, all well prepared for the stay, rooms are comfy and beds and interior were new. unfortunately the ac unit was very loud, and the room substance is quite old (walls, base board paint etc.), still good rating for price/value
