Pleased Otherwise
Had a dissatisfaction with the 1st room booked, brought the issues up to the front desk, she immediately switched my room...upgraded actually. Was very pleased from then on....until I had the opportunity to meet the Mgr R.A. I was harassed by this brotha over some technical situation that I had no control over. The @rbit$ booking system did not do everything needed to secure my room. I extended my stay by purchasing another day via the iPad app. I then followed up by going to the desk 1st thing in the AM. The rep signed me in, and updated my key. This all happened well before 10 or so, say between 8-9am. Once back at the room many hours later, I get a call from the desk. The young lady was explaining that ipa needed to come to the desk to pay for another day or check-out. Need to bring my cc and id. I explained that I was super busy with my work and was unable to deal with their administrative short comings. I would see them shortly after I had finished my call. R.A. Called my room again within 10 min or so, reiterating the same conversation that the young lady had just communicated to me. I told him that I was extremely busy and could not come at that time and had assured him I should be legit, and suggested he checked his system over again. The mgr was determined to keep me from my work (which was already difficult due to the lack of bandwidth available, vErY sloooW), I told him I was not leaving the room until I had finished my call and would address his concerns shortly. As I mentioned I had already took care of my additional night's stay...so I thought. He then came to my room banging on the door as if I had stolen the presidential bible. He told me I needed to contact the booking company (the one that resembles an astronomy action) and have them research my transaction and to communicate with the hotel. Told me I had to have them fax over documents proving my claims. I ignored his requests so tat I could finish addressing my customer. Well needless to say, after me delaying the customer three times, neglecting to stay present during the video mtg/conference, and "being unprofessional" I lost the customer. So I finally went to the desk to see what te hellO he wanted. I requested his presence; the rep summonsed him for me, for me to hear him saying "there's nothing he can do, not his problem". By the way, this is happening around three pm or so. If this was an issue, why am I just now being notified? ALL OTHER STAFF WAS GREAT!!

For the price this hotel is a steal. The room was pretty clean and newly remolded.i honestly have no complaints about the room it's self however as for the staff I can tell that they were short handed or something. Someone had used the bathroom in the elevator and the staff just put a wet floor sign in the elevator without cleaning it up! It was like that for a least two days and there is only one elevator!!! This is why I give the staff a low rating.

Could have been a better hotel for money spent
Use to better at Red Roof at other locations. Room small, not enouth soap for a two day stay. No maid service for second day (no clean linen, soap, towel change and hung by staff). No coffee in room. Continenent breakfast was a laugh in value and location. No napkins, utensils available. It was like living primitive. Liked elevator so I did not have to climb stairs. Coffee was good but very small cups. Room was clean and available on arrival. Heating and air conditioning was great.

NEVER AGAIN
My mother and I stayed for one night and were running out the door the next morning. We arrived at 4:30 the day before and were told by Kenya, the not too friendly but not overly rude, front desk person that they didn't have any rooms ready because they had sold out the night before. I told her I would have to wait. Another woman came in the office and I watched while they bantered and joked and she gave the woman 3 downstairs rooms after I had been told there were no more available. To top it all off, I watched her comp one of the rooms. When we did get a room, on the 2nd floor, I asked if they had any luggage carts and Kenya replied, "Yes, but I don't know where they are...." After hunting for a luggage cart and asking 3 different maids, who did not speak English, we tracked one down. I woke at night to check the time on my cell and could see small, mite-like bugs crawling on my phone. I still haven't stopped itching.... When we were leaving the room, I noticed something under the bed. To my suprise there were french fries and chicken nuggets under my bed, evidently left from previous guests. When I went in to the lobby to turn in my key, there was a used condom right in front of the office door. I told the very polite front desk gentleman about our problems and he apologized and went out to clean up immediately. He also gave me the general manager's card to call about my complaint. I called on Monday morning and left her a voicemail. When I didn't hear back by Wednesday morning, I called again and spoke with Kenya. She told me Ellen wasn't in this week. I asked if she had a number to the corporate office and she told me there wasn't one. I think I have visited Red Roof Inn for the first and last time.

HORRIBLE!!!!
THE BOX SPRINGS ON THE BED WERE VERY, VERY DIRTY. WE HAD A NON-SMOKING ROOM BUT WE SMELLED SMOKE OUR ENTIRE STAY. I HAD TO GO TO THE FRONT OFFICE EVERYDAY TO GET A NEW KEY BECAUSE MY KEYS DIDN'T WORK EFFECIENTLY.HOUSE-KEEPING ONLY CLEANED OUR ROOM ONE DAY(WE WERE THERE FROM THURSDAY TO FRIDAY)! THE KICKER OUT OF EVERYTHING IS THAT A STRANGER OPENED OUR DOOR AT 4:00 A.M. BECAUSE THEY HAD BEEN GIVEN A KEY TO OUR ROOM FROM ONE OF THE STAFF MEMBERS THERE WHO DIDN'T EVEN KEY ME IN THEIR SYSTEM. BASED UPON THEIR RECORDS, I WASN'T EVEN THERE!!!!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!! I WAS DISGUSTED!!!!!:(
