Motel 6 Atlanta Northeast

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for a low rate, which was the only thing this hotel had to offer. My room was only "cleaned" only once during my stay. When I asked the front desk for clean towels, they told me they don't keep any with them and I'd have to ask the maid for some the next day. I asked the maid the next day and I was told that she didn't have any clean towels. They close their lobby at 7pm and you can only talk to the hotel clerk through a dark bullet-proof window, which does no good since they can't offer any service. My room had 2 broken lamps and pillows with blood stains. The maintenance guy delivered light bulbs and new pillow covers, but I had to install the bulbs and cover the pillows. Lamps still didn't work nor did they do anything to fix it. Most of the guests at this hotel are prostitutes and drug dealers. If your traveling with family, please do not stay here! Description and photos of this hotel does not match the actuality look of the hotel. Customer service and hospitality is not something that they offer. Once again, I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Economically priced, but a little dirty. Walls and doors had some stains and something that looked sticky on them.

It was thee worst experience I have ever had. It was thee worst service with a unsafe enviroment and element so much so that the hotel locks its lobby and speaks to you through bulletproof glass after 10pm.

didn't like this hotel. would rather add 10-20 bucks to stay in a better one.

Travel btw Stone Mountain and clarkston. Easy access to major hwy. short walk to resturants. Must visit caferteria directly across parking lot for good southern cooking. Remember to bring your own shampoo, blow dryers etc. No extras provided.

The 2 rooms we had were neat and clean. My family's neighboring room had about an 1" to 1 1/2" between the bottom of the door and seal which they covered with a towel. During the course of our stay there I did kill ONE roach but seeing as you enter your room directly from the outside that wasn't a big deal for us. The beds were very comfortable. The fitness center was small so if you are looking for a large area this is not the place. The pool was outdoors but was fairly clean. The staff was friendly and saw to it that we had fresh and clean towels and wash cloths each day. They made the beds each day and even brought us extra towels, washcloths and pillows when requested. Though it did not prevent anyone from getting sleep the only thing we didn't really like was that there was constant traffic noise as the facility is located right off an interstate plus we read reviews about the place before staying and knew to expect the noise. If we traveled to Atlanta again this would be a place we would stay at again. If you plan to get wet or wash your hair bring your own blow dryer and shampoo/conditioner and an iron if you have clothing that may need ironing as the hotel doesn't provide these in the rooms.

The room was very nice and brand spanking new. BUT the staff was noisy and actually called my room after spotting the "Do not disturb" placard on my door. They said they wouldn't knock, but would call and disturb you. The profile on [...] tells you they have microwave and fridge but IT DOES NOT. The motel staff says they notified [...] about it but they have not removed it yet. The room was reminiscent of a Sheraton or Marriott with cherry wood furniture, fluffy pillows, something like a memory foam mattress, and down comforter, and a sufficiently large flat screen tv on the wall.

Hotel is ok and at a great price. The word budget definitely applies (bring your own shampoo). The AC would turn off periodically even though it wasn't at 60F (the minimum setting). There is a chance it may not be able to handle summer heat. However, the AC was good enough for us during our stay in late May.
