Sighs..Very Disappointed
When I first walked in the place it seemed very nice, clean and comfortable. After check-in I discovered the bathroom wasn't very clean, the tub had residue in it and toilet was dirty. After I took a shower I figured out why the tub was dirty, it was clogged. I was then transferred to a room on the top floor. This room too wasn't clean. There was a dry coffee spill under the bathroom sink, the sink was dirty and again the toilet wasn't clean. The room had not been dusted in some time. Also the hot water wasn't very hot and took forever to get lukewarm. The place has very thin walls, the guests next door kept going in and out all night slamming the door, I had called the clerk several times and nothing was done til I called down at 2am and got a different clerk who took care of the problem. I then had to deal with housekeeping banging on the doors and slamming them as well the next morning. They had No regard to the guests staying there. Also the place has one ice/vending and drink machine on the 3rd floor and the 4 nights I stayed it stayed out of order and there was no other place to get anything to drink. The internet service is a joke. Each time I went to use it I couldn't connect, I had to call the front desk to reset it. I was able to connect better to the Hotel next door. I was very disappointed in the place, I will not return to it. The place needs a lot of maintenance and new cleaning staff. It is in a great location, that's about the only thing it has going for it

Convenient Location ... that's all
We were in Atlanta overnight on business and Microtel appeared to be a good bargain. Once we got there, we found out WHY the price was so low! First, the staff assigned us to an occupied room. When we went to switch rooms, the woman at the front desk INSISTED that the room could not possibly be occupied, even though we had personally talked to the occupant. Once we got our room changed, we almost left. There were short dark hairs everywhere - bathtub/shower, comforter, sheets, even between the mattress and sheets! WiFi was intermittent at best (kept kicking us off). Minimal TV channels. The complimentary breakfast included cereal, frozen biscuits, and bagels. We won't be staying at a Microtel again, that's for sure!

No Internet Connection
As a business traveler it is very important to me to have internet connectivity. That was advertised at this facility but was not available. Very Disappointing.

One day stay
Was in Atlanta for one day as my son attended a camp at Ga Tech.Just needed a nice clean place for one night, nothing fancy. This place fit the bill. The peremiter area of Atlanta is very nice and all the hotels in the area are pretty much new. Plenty of shopping and dining in the area as well. The only down side to the rooms was some rust in the bottom of the tubs. Other than that. Very friendly staff. Especially [...].

Pleasant mini-stay
We were there for 2 days visiting the city and some friends. The room was small but adequate and very clean. It came equipped with Frig., mirowave, coffeemaker, iron, safe, etc. The breakfast was very basic. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to answer any questions concerning the area. There are lots of places to eat but you will need a car. A marta station is less than a mile away with free parking and that is definetily the way to travel in town. All in all a very good hotel for the price.

Weekly Stay
I've been staying at this hotel for the past 3 months. Good value, small rooms, could use a little updating. CRT TV screens, no flat screens, 1 tread mill, staff is good, good free breakfest selection, nothing special ceral, coffee danish. Ideal location for my work commute. walking distance. Shops, mall and food locations are plentifull.

It was good an okay stay.
The staff is very helpful and nice they even update our suite without any extra fees. The breakfast bar need more varieties of food. The workout room is okay, however it just three workout machines. The room is cozy some are big, medium and small. They provide a shuttle car that will drive you to different place, but I am not sure where, just call and ask. Only one ice machine in the entire hotel and that broke. Two washer/dryer machines, the dryer did not complete dry our clothes. 24-hour coffee maker. Microwave and refrigerator are in some of the rooms. Either you have a Microwave or a refrigerator, you will have to upgrade to get both. The Hotel is very close to Sandy Springs and Dunwoody Train station. In walking distance of plenty of shopping stores and restaurants.

Clean, Friendly, and Warm Cookies!!!
The hotel was nice and well kept. Staff was friendly and help full and homey. They even baked us fresh chocolate chip cookies!!! Breakfast wasn't the biggest, but better than nothing. Great location for shopping and downtown travel. Just around the corner from Perimeter Mall. The pool wasn't the biggest, but it stayed open late and was empty and clean the whole weekend! Only bad thing was the gym only had cardio machines. Loved the entire stay and would gladly stay there in the future.
