Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Atlanta/Buckhead Area

I went to Atlanta with a friend to attend a concert. We wanted to go to the Pink Pony afterwards. I searched for hotels within 2 miles and the Microtel came up. It was affordable and I have stayed at this chain before, so I went ahead and booked it. When we got to the hotel I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Pink Pony was right across the street! We stayed out until 4am and didn't get up until 1pm the day after. Check out was at 12pm, but the staff told us it was okay and not to worry! Very nice folks. I will definitely stay there again!

This hotel is excellent for the price. The location is slightly right out side of Buckhead. It's great for a over night stay. I would not recommend this area for kids only because there is a lot of night life in this area and can be a lil noisy. There is a great strip club across the street and a Latino night club right next door. So if ur looking for a over night stay with a lil bit of late night action this place is perfect.

staff was delightful and rooms were clean. location to highway and downtown Atlanta is key.

Room was in the hood...was super small and not in a safe location. Not even an iron in the room! Could here a baby crying thru the thin walls.

This was a last minute hotel reservation for a business trip with my wife and our 3 year old daughter. I have always enjoyed staying at Microtell Inn's and this visit was not any different. We checked in around 11 pm, and the hotel staff very nice, and extremely helpful. The guy at the front desk did not even hesitate to go in to the storage room to get some milk for our 3 year old, so that i would not have to drive to the gas station. The room was very clean, and so was the bathroom. The only thing that could have been better was the seating for the breakfast. They only have 3 tables with i think 3 chairs each, which makes it hard to have breakfast at the lobby. Otherwise, if you don't mind taking your breakfast up to your room, everything else was good. The only thing about the location is that there is a strip club right around the corner from the hotel It did not bother me at all but just thought i should mention it. Next time i go to Atlanta for business, i will definitely stay at the same hotel with no hesitation. And the travel date shows as January 2012 but it is because they do not have 2013 on the list yet :) This trip was made on Jan 3rd 2013

Friendly service, comfortable beds! Great prices!!

Room was clean, but hallways weren't & they smelled of smoke. All I needed was a place to take a shower & get a goods night sleep, though... and this place served that purpose. The rates are great.

Hotel adequate for our needs. Close to the park we were going to a concert. Close enough to airport for quick return and several historical sites close by car. Room small, bathroom quite small. Needed more space for toiletries. Tub was not very clean. People at desk quite nice and friendly.

room was ok for the price but the neighborhood was a little seedy . Several hookers hanging around on the sidewalk outside the hotel across from the Pink Poney bar.
