Super awesome crazy fun Trip!
When we first got there they gave us a room with two double sized beds even though my reservation was for a king. They told me the third party doesn't care and will tell them whatever to get the reservation. I was a little takin back by that but they rectified the situation and the stay was very pleasant. The hotel is very conveniently located.

Quick weekend trip
Stayed in Atlanta for a weekend trip. Chose the hotel because of the location. Close to downtown, right off of the highway. We had a rental car, and found much cheaper parking options up the street. Staff was super friendly

First Time in Stlamta
I had read reviews and they were not the best. Once we got there though, we were presently surprised. We stayed on the concierge floor which was nice and worth the extra couple of dollars. The staff was very nice and we loved out bartender in the lobby bar taylor, Luis and cortez in the concierge level room. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.

Great value for a higher-end hotel
I only stayed here for one night on a quick business trip, but the lobby was beautiful, hotel conveniently located right off the freeway with free wi-fi and good sized rooms (especially having come from NYC!). Also walking distance to a great gastropub called Midtown Tavern, which really topped off the stay. Would definitely stay again, great value for quite a nice place.

Midtown Tavern plays great indie music, with great food (gastropub sort of gourmet burgers etc.) and great craft beer selection. Excited to make it back to ATL just to go there!

Not what we paid for
Larry(bell service man), Mukeith (maintenence) and Jeremaine(valet) were great! Everyone else was horrible. The front desk attendant (all of them) were rude. Valet was not worth the $28 a day we paid for it! While the common areas were beautiful and contemporary, the room did NOT match. We would not stay there again! I do not recomend this hotel!

Not a great place.
This was not a good value. We had to switch rooms twice because they were so dirty. The pillows in one of the rooms had so much make up and hair on them. It looked like Tammy Faye was the room's last guest. Everything past the lobby was shabby, run down, and a little dingy. I would not stay here again. A friend book this reservation. I tried to get her to cancel it. We paid $111 a night. The W Hotel, which is amazing, and only a block or two away was $116. When I called to complain about the first room being dirty, the employee said they were too busy to talk about it on the phone, that I would have to come to the front desk and WAIT IN LINE to talk to them. If this hotel is $60 a night, go for it. Any more than that, find somewhere else. The location is excellent. But that's about it. Drinks at the bar are $15 for well brands. So, if you do stay here, plan in drinking elsewhere.

Atlanta Supercross at the GA-Dome
My son and I drive to Atlanta every year to attend the annual AMA Supercross race at the Dome. The Melia is with in walking distance of the Dome, in fact from our window we could see it. It is right next to an i75 ramp so it is a breeze to get in and out. If you are not into walking the MARTA is only a block away and will take you right to the Dome as well. The breakfast was delicious and priced at $12.50 I believe a great value. They had a great variety of foods from healthy and light to heavy and fattening so you're the master of you destiny. The traffice is quite audible at night.

The staff was wonderful and very nice. However if you are going to stay there choice the valet parking with the hotel;it is cheaper. Or you will pay 15 dollars each time you leave. they dont tell you that. Rooms smell like cigarettes and the bathroom wasnt that clean. I think that hotel has the best view, but they close the balcony/deck until summer. So I wouldnt stay there agan until they update the rooms.

Good location and friendly staff
This hotel has a good location 10 minutes walk to the heart of Atlanta and attractions like Coca Cola World and the Georgia Aquarium. It's also close to the Fox Theatre and easy to get to from the tube station at North Avenue making the trip from the airport very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the rooms are a little tired and showing their age but you get what you pay for I guess. This would put some off so if you want a luxury hotel this may not be for you. If you want a base for seeing the city and are not too fussy this will be ideal.
