Masters Inn Doraville

The title says it all! I am very serious when I say stay away from this hell hotel. If you are looking for a nice and quiet stay, then you need to look elsewhere. You will only have nightmares of your stay when you come back home. I rather been sleeping under a bridge than sleeping on a bed with spots, unidentified stains. Since my visit, I have developed a persistant unidentifiable rash in all the soft areas. Should you choose to sleep here, may I recommend you sleep fully attired in clothing suitable for polar expedition. My long-term goal in life is to stay away from this hotel. I would advise you to do the same.

Would not go to this location even if it was free. The are so cheaply built that there was no sound proofing what so ever. Anytime someone talked outside it is as if they were in the same room. The staff made no concerted effort to quell the noisy guests even after numerous complaints were made. Horrible experience overall and definitely not worth the price. BEWARE

this hotel is the pits! upon arrival happy to see security, but was i wrong the only thing he was protecting was the dealers, customers and hoes. noisy, pissy and drug infested. DO MOT stay here!!!!!

What a hell whole, seriously the bed was soaked in Urine!!! what more do I need to say other than I layed down a bed that was soaked with someone urine.. [...]When I called the front desk they moved us in another room but didnt really care.

For the price, I can't say too many bad things about this hotel - it's not a five star accommodation, that's for sure, so I don't know exactly what I should have expected. We arrived and checked in, and noticed that there was a fridge in the room - how convenient. We stored the few Michigan brews we bought...right before they came to try to take the fridge away. We also ran into many interesting characters - knocking on our door all day and night, grilling food in the parking lot, and blasting music from the car a few feet from our room. There were 5 - 10 feral cats living in the parking lot, as well as a some broken down cars. We didn't feel comfortable leaving our laptops in our room, so we went to the front desk to utilize the advertised safe. We were told that if we put our stuff in the safe, we would not be able to retrieve it for 3 days - very useful. There was, however, a security guard, but I don't know how much a 100 year old stroke victim would be able to do in the event of a crime. Internet is also advertised, and when I called Masters Inn to ask about it, the person on the phone simply said "WIFI" before immediately hanging up on me. They do have Wifi, but only in their tiny lobby. Overall, I would not stay here again, but may recommend it to friends for the comedy value alone.

The hotel does not live up with the expectations. It's kept clean, but the rooms are old and the air conditioning is as loud as a passing train. The interstate into the city is right next to it, though.

It was the perfect spot located between 85 & 285 with easy access to both. Short drive to downtown!

Great price. Wonderful location because it's easy to find. Definitely a 2 rating but worth it if you are looking for a deal. However, they like to use a lot of deodorizer. The king size room (non smoking) reaked of it and had to change to another because it was so bad. (looked at 2 other rooms...recommend the ones against the wall...very quiet.) They even use it in the entry way... Walls are kind of thin but not surprising. Overall, if you are looking for cheap and reasonable..would recommend.

The front desk person was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean for the age of the hotel. There was no mold on shower curtain, the sheets were clean and the towels were clean. The only down to the whole experience was that the hotel is right next door to a night club and we had to listen to bass all night long eventually we were able to sleep through it. All in all I would stay here again because I enjoyed the service and ease of using my online reservation.

Personally, I booked this hotel the night before I had to be in Atlanta. It was during a very busy weekend, with a lot of festivities going on, so I was surprised they even had any rooms open. I had a little issue with the check in clerk, but other than that I was satisified. I was satisified. The only issue I had was checking in. I arrived around noon. I was told if they had rooms avaliable I could check in before 3pm. There were rooms open, but they were not cleaned yet, and here it was noon on my day to cehck in. So I didn't get to check in until 2:30pm, so I had to find things to do until then. Other than that, it was a nice experience. I wold surely recommend this hotel. It was less than 15 minutes away from downtown Atlanta, and the GA Aquarium. Very worth it.
