Midtown
The experience was ok! Nothing too special, kinda average. If it was one thing that sucked, it would've been the parking. We had to park at the top of the parking deck passing lots to empty ones on the bottom level where we could've easily been, instead of being at the very top and then coming all the way down to the bottom.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
The good thing is that we were very close to the Taco Mac, Atlantic Station, and a couple clubs that we really wanted to go to.

It is what it is
The location is good if you want to be in Midtown. The staff stinks. They will not even look at you when you address them. The bathroom shower would not drain. Oh and you would think parking would be included in the rate but get ready to add $18 for parking if you have a rental. It is not the worst place, clean enough to sleep in so that's it. It is what it is. I guess you are paying for the location, but we did not find anything great.

Not worth the price or locations.. that's for sure
It's all about the 'little' things. But too many little things combined creates a 'big' thing. 1. We had soiled (can I say urine stains and other bodily stained)? comforters. Houskeeping was timely with bringing new clean spreads. 2. The old TV remote would not work properly. the channels would go up... but not down. We requested a new TV remote only to experience dead batteries in the new report. 3)The TV itself was a 27" old TV from the 90's....I thought this hotel used to be a Wyndam.. where are that flat screen TV's these days. Lastly, We were advised the wireless INTERNET was only available in the lobby. (WHAT?????)))). We were told an RJ jack cord was needed to connect to wireless in the rooms at which there would be a $9.95 charge. we were told the rj cable would be in the desk drawer in the room. Of course our room did not have an RJ cable. When I went down to the desk to obtain an RJ jack, they told me I needed to go back to my room and call from the phone and someone would bring me a jack. In addition, when I called for the remote, I also asked for an RJ cable. I was told the INTERNET was 'down' so I couldn't get my cord... We were in room 301 on Friday 23Mar2012. I must have been the guest form he||... but like I say.... it's the little things that matter. Another Old Whyndam... gone down hill... oh yeahh..... and then there was this morning desk agent who was checking out people who apologized for not keeping up with the trayson news that was happening. 'She is so sorry'..... whatever girl!

Great hotel! I will be back!!
I will remember this hotel the next time I am looking for a place to stay. It's in a great location, very nice and a good price. And, I love the valet parking and that it's so close to concert venues. I just wish you had free breakfast but, hey, I'll still be back!!

Great Location.
The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. You can't beat the location next to Piedmont Park. It is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and museums. Self-Parking cost $18 and you are able to come and go as desired. It is very easy to hail a taxi at the hotel if you prefer not to drive. The staff was helpful and sufficeiently friendly.

Over Night Stay
I would say that the hotel has done a good job matching price point with the average nature of the hotel. All things considered, it was worth 75 dollars a night. However, I did a late check in so I had to self park. Not a problem, but the parking deck is very confusing. With a little more conversation from check in, I would not have had to leave my car twice to get instruction.

Less amenities with online booking
Hotel stated complementary breakfast in online description. Did not honor it because it was bookedonline. Also no mention of parking charge--it was $18/day. The garge was multi-use and could have just parked there and paid a whole day cost of $12. was not informed of that.

Looking for Quality!
If you are used to attentive, friendly and welcoming staff, this is not the hotel. The friendliest person is the parking valet. Everything else is just a little below par. For the first 2 day, my room smelled of cigarettes. The walls are thin, therefore you can hear you neighbors. For what I needed during my stay, which wasn't much, it worked. Although, I would never stay there again.
