Bachelor weekend

Chosen for it's location, relatively close proximity (short taxi ride) to Turner Field & Atlanta Braves baseball. The staff was very courteous & helpful. Room were comfortable, but bathrooms were very small.

Quaint, but lacking.

Uniquely decorated, but very small room and too small of a bathroom. The updated paint/style of halls and rooms are appealing, but when you look closely it was done very sloppily, revealing old/moldy imperfections. The staff was generally friendly, only one glitch. The desk clerk ignored the line of 5 people standing in front of him while on the phone explaining something to a possible customer; put them on hold and tend to the ones in front of you. Parking is in the back (shared by another hotel), not across the street like the website says.

Pet friendly

As someone traveling across the country with 2 cats & a dog, I have difficulty finding pet friendly hotels that are clean, not too expensive, & don't have a ton of pet restrictions. Hotel Indigo Midtown Atlanta was the perfect fit for what I was looking for.

Staff Let This Hotel Down

While the rooms are quaintly on the small side, generally I felt this hotel was comfortable and very clean. Unfortunately, the staff need re-training or re-educating on customer service, evidenced by three incidents over two days: I delivered laundry to the desk and asked for it to be delivered next day before six p.m. No-one bothered to call up the laundry service and the laundry was left sitting in a back-room until I call and asked where it was. The breakfast waiter appear to be distracted at the least. On ordering I asked for coffee and had to ask a further three times before he got the message. He then gave me the wrong check, having given mine to someone else. A rude receptionist with a listening problem aggressively told me, "The hotel does NOT have a transfer service" in answer to my request for the names of a couple of airport transfer operators.

In this case, "boutique" means small and meager

Got a great rate and decided to try this midtown location for a Sunday night stay. Lobby and common areas of the hotel were stylishly decorated, but the looks of the staff, not so much. No valet. The hotel was practically empty, but we received a tiny room in a corner with the view of a parking garage. I guess the rate entitled us to a nasty room. And that was after charging an outrageous $25 for parking. With a practically empty hotel, I expected much more. The room was clean, but the bathroom was so small that you couldn't dry yourself without opening the door. And there is no ventilation fan, so whatever you do in the bathroom lingers. Television had Fox, but not MSNBC. I guess if you were traveling by yourself this all might be sufficient, but this hotel was unfortunately nothing special.

Just Waiting for the Right People to Run the Hotel

Initial greeting was fine however I found the front desk staff generally were not that interested in meeting my needs. For example on check-in day I brought some laundry down to reception and asked for it to be returned p.m. the next day, reminding reception that I was checking out after two nights. When my laundry hadn't been delivered the next day, I called reception at 6 p.m. only to discover that they had not sent the laundry out that morning and the bag was still sitting there. At breakfast on the morning after checking in, I ordered my breakfast and asked for coffee. After ten minutes, I asked for coffee again as the barman/waiter passed by my table. I had to ask a third time before my request sank in. Further, I was given the wrong check, already signed by someone else, and when I mentioned this I received an incomprehensible response and had to demand that I be given my check and not someone else's. On the night before checking out, I asked the female receptionist for the names of a couple of airport shuttle companies, and she replied most stridently that the hotel did not have a shuttle service. Clearly her listening skills were minimal because she gave an answer to a question I didn't ask, and so I had to ask again. In my opinion, this quite charming hotel property is badly let down by the quality of the people employed to run it.

Great hotel.

We stay here when we go see something at The Fox Theater and each time it is an enjoyable experience. The only reason for the one score below 5 is because of the size of the bathrooms.

great but needs something else

Every staff menmber was great. The only real problem we had was having to pay $25 a day to park. I would think that if you are staying at a hotel you should not have to pay to park your car where you are staying.
